One Piece episode 526 isn’t even out yet, but we thought why not treat the great visitors of Saiyan Island with a preview scan of episode 527! Spoilers for those not following the manga, but as you can see, it features Luffy, Sanji gazing at Keimi, the Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets, and a Paradise of Mermaids on Fishman Island. Sanji is in for a real treat! And it is thus there is no surprise the episodes is titled, “Landing at Fishman Island, The Lovely Mermaids!”

The scan gives a summary “Upon arriving at Fishman Island, the Straw Hats are separated and before Sunny can continue sailing, the New Fishman Pirates appear. They enclose the crew in a bubble trap, but using Sunny’s Coup de Burst, the Straw Hats are able to escape. However, just as they break through the bubble, the crew becomes separated. Will they be able to reunite on Fishman Island…!?
Next to the 4 monsters – the Sea Giraffe, Sea Elephant, Sea Rhino, and Sea Gorilla – the scan says, “Sea Monsters attack Luffy!!. Hammond of the New Fishman Pirates threatens to make Luffy a subordinate in their crew. However, Luffy’s refuses land as a result the sea monsters’ attack.”

New One Piece Characters and Products Preview Scan:
A brand new scan from Shonen Jump previews the up-coming characters in the One Piece anime! These characters have all been seen in the manga, so if you read that this should be nothing new. However, if you are an anime-only type of person, warning major spoilers ahead!

Vander Decken IX – First Appearance in Chapter 606 (and now in anime episode 525)
The current captain of the Flying Pirates and the eighth descendent of the legendary Vander Decken. He is a Japanese bullhead shark fishman with black hair, a white shirt, green overalls, and yellow hat.
Hody Jones – First Appearance in Chapter 608
The captain of the New Fishman Pirates and a former soldier of the Neptune Army that shares Arlong’s ideals. He is the great white shark fishman with black hair, a pink hat, white scarf, and unbuttoned red shirt.
Madame Shirley – First Appearance in Chapter 610
A fortune teller on Fishman Island, the owner of Mermaid Cafe, and Arlong’s younger sister. She is a shortfin mako shark mermaid with black hair, a blue hood, and blue shirt.
Princess Shirahoshi – First Appearance in Chapter 612
The youngest child of Ryugu Kingdom’s King Neptune. She is a giant-sized mermaid about ten times the size of Luffy, has pink hair and a yellow bra.
In case you are wondering what all that other stuff on the second half of the page is, well, they are product promotions. On the left side the scan promotes DVDs for the Foxy and Water 7 arcs. On the right side is a promotion for a music CD featuring the Fake Straw Hats. It seems it will be available at Jump Festa 2012 on December 17-18. Our guess is it will include the track “We Were,” which is the Fake Straw Hats’ version of “We Go”. You can listen to it below!
Lastly, at the bottom is the promotion for Soul King Brook’s music CD, which hits Japanese retailers December 21st, 2011. The debut single on the CD was played by Brook in One Piece episode 520. If you’re looking for a reminder, check out the video below!
