[Discussion] one peice haters..

Art-styles have a huge impact on the manga. Why do think that the sad moments are so sad? It's not just the story telling but the drawings as well.

I'd have to say I really appreciate that comment.
So many people watch episode after episode without actually analyzing the development/ creation behind the characters.

I too have actually witnessed this phenomenon happening not just to mangas/animes, but rather to every piece of fiction that did achieve immense popularity. Those 3 steps of: overhyping, gaining popularity and eventually starting to look at once beloved series critically, developing some kind of negative feeling towards it, have been repeated more than a few times before my very eyes and it's still happening. Guess, the average human habits are predictable as hell after all...

I've seen it too , it happens everywhere now a days , everyone likes to play the little reviewer of series,movies etc ........you can just look at every anime/manga section here in NB , there's always that hater showing up , passing opinions as facts , like @Hixa said above people start focusing on the negative only . Everything that is popular will always get hate (fact) , there's nothing wrong with hype or over hyping something ,the problem here is that people are not smart enough to toss that aside, ignore it , watch/read and judge by themselves no matter the hype and if you don't like it , that's that & move on , not your thing .

No matter what people tell me , I don't care ...I have a different preference of what I like , you can hype it however you like & tell me is godly, I'm still gonna judge it on my own , like OP I don't like it & I'm not reading it once Naruto is over , hell I don't even like Naruto anymore , but you don't see me bashing either series .

i think most will watch on of them if the series end. i like hunter*hunter because it reminds me of naruto

On topic: Frankly- the way OP fans try to hard sell the manga sometimes make them look desperate to get some support and readership. Asking everyone to be patient for some 350 chapters and that then it would get interesting.. Have you ever had a clingy guy or girl trying to get your attention despite being ignored repeatedly? Or ever encountered those door to door religious missionaries?

Secondly, every fanbase has some haters. And then some who won't be that impressed or besotted as the rest of the group.

Let it be and you will get less trolls. Not everyone is going to like the manga and yet many will and read it when they have time and inclination and some will turn into life time fans.

I find it stupid that ppl say it gets good at Ennies Lobby, a year ago it used to be Arlong park or Alabasta, one really does ask themselves if all those fans are just casual and read OP too EL by chance even if it was boring to them just because they had nothing better to do

The asnwer is, if you don't like Arlong Park, Loguetown or at the very last Alabasta than stop reading

But than it is ALSO true that when you don't read further you don't have the right to brainlessly hate and bash it when you know nothing about it, sure you get certain V's that actually read it even if it is only to complain about it (pathetic rly)

But most of us OP fans aren't desperate for everyone liking it but are annoyed by brainless hate from ppl who have no idea what they are talking about or ppl who enter the OP forums with the sole intent of bashing and trolling, thet's not desperation that's just natural for everyone

I feel like that a lot of people who bash one piece from my experience have not watched a lot of one piece. I remember some dude on some youtube vid bashing the hell out of OP. He then wrote that he only watched one episode of one piece (episode 647) and called it stupid. Like really? :|

yu know i watch and read one piece weekly and i have friends who actually like one piece more than naruto(not me tho )but ever since the time skip they are no longer hyped about one piece like they used to..the reasons are ,no more long and epic fights like (trio monster vs cp9) no longer crazy places like (the justice gate scenery,aqua laguna,....)before the backgrounds in the anime were as much jawdropping as the epic shit the mugiwara would be doing ,,,punk hazard arc , villain was lame ,the background scenery not that much creative (fire half and ice half island,meh)those giants kid annoying and the dressrosa arc is being killed by the anime (plus the dressrosa island is lame,no sense of adventure)i think when naruto end most the fan and me will go to hunter x hunter because to be honest toei ain t doing justice to one piece

Actually the backgrounds post TS are just as good as pre TS, in FI they are actually at their best thus far, as for fights we are basically in the Alabasta of the NW, how many long fights were before Alabasta? As for Dressrosa it is definitely one of the top arcs of OP, it looks amazing (spain, green bit, the pica chaos), has probably the best villain thus far and it is crazy with twists and not holding back with big names (Fuji, the Yonko, the Revs).

Conclusion, ???k Toei, read the manga!!!!!!

No, this isn't Naruto. You have to start from the beginning to have the best experience. The last thing you want happening is getting spoiled on something huge like this flashback that you just posted.

OP doesn't have many flaws & most of flaws don't impact the plot in a negative way. People are usually viewing the series in critical stand-point and there's still not many flaws with the series. Mainly because Oda takes his time and this usually reduces the margin of error in a story stand point. There are people who are analytical & complain too early about the series. I.E. Sawyer7mage complained that Oda kept introducing too many irrelevant fodders in the tournament but look how wrong his statement is now.

OT: I agree with Yo Momma San. OP has its flaws, but the good outweighs the bad vastly, so it's not like you mind the flaws.
