If there was that kind of DF, I hope a fodder doesn't have it like Caribou (Swamp-Swamp Fruit). It would be a waste and I don't think Shanks needs a DF because I want him to be a Haki Beast.

Just....no....
There are way too many complications with this. First off, if they transform into water, won't they be submerged in water, and therefore cancelling there DF ability.
Plus there is already FK which is pretty much like a water DF.

Water DF sorta goes against the very core of the DF but if for instance Shanks had it he would still be able to swim since he is water itself othervise he would not be able to move at all since the very water he has become would paralyze him like Luffy and water.

That would be a contridiction.i think aoda can make a DF with anything else besides water, also there is no point w/ fish men like jimbe. There might be one where the DF user can create water as an alternative usage for their DF, but it'll be a water DV

Like when luffy covered himself in water to fight crocidle and both could still use their DFs

It just makes no sense there being any Water DF.
There are some much, that by One Piece logic, would go wrong with the fruit.
The DF's natural enemy is water. They would just end up killing themselves with it. Plus, like I said, we have FI. Is there any even any need at all for a Water DF?

I feel you .. but I thought it was only Sea Water that was DF users natural enemy..?

But what is FI?

A Water Devil Fruit would be one of the strongest abilities in the whole OP world.. for the exact reasons I wrote in my original post.

It would mean they wouldnt be able to manipulate large bodies of water, or cancel out other devil fruits even in the slightest, cause once they did they would lose all their energy.
