Once-in-a-century total solar eclipse on 8/21!

I recently found out that on the 21st of this month, there will be a very rare total solar eclipse occurring. The full eclipse will be visible over a thin band of the United states from coast to coast, straight through the heart of the nation. See map below:

The eclipse is very rare in the fact that it has been a full century since an eclipse has spanned the entire continental united states like this. If you are close to the affected area and can witness the eclipse, you should make plans to do so. Get your eclipse glasses now!

Sounds like you need to head up there a day early and get a cheap motel for the night. Would be well worth it in my opinion.
