Only noobs with no life like Hasashi would log on, on Christmas eve. So I dont think that should happen because he would be the only one with an award.

last year they had a thank you on every post but the next day the people who didn't show up started complaining and most of the rep was removed

No because of what squiremarcus said. People are going to get mad again. :| It was something about people not working for their reps and just getting them. I didn't really care because I never paid much heed to reps anyway but... some people may care I guess. So the same would go for awards, possibly even worse for awards.
Oh how I rofled on that day. xd (Well, the day after since I wasn't here then. xd)
