*Crawls out of the ground using Hiding like a Mole jutsu and sits across from you* Doton was the first element I mastered. Okay I'm Ragna nice to meet ya. I like snow, I dislike rotten bananas and I dream of winning the lottery wait I did (NB lottery.)xD, We will now commence training. Come sit with me on the ground and tell me all that you know of Doton and just a little bit about yourself Likes, Dislikes, Dreams.
Doton is one my favorite elements out there due to how versatile it is and how it exists basically everywhere. It can be used either for offensive or defensive purposes and via some techs to increase/decrease the weight of something. Earth is strong against water, but weak to lightning. This is because of Earths ability to absorb the water, and because lightning rips through the Earth. Earth is used in multiple KKG's and various styles. This list includes Wood Release (Water + Earth), Lava Release(Fire + Earth), Dust Release (Wind + Fire + Earth), and Deidra's explosive clay. Users of the earth element are predominately found in Iwagakure such as Muu, Kurotsuchi and the alike.

Moving on, So you seem to know your KGs that involve earth (Forgot steel..this is the third time why do we always forget the steel release. xD), and its users/region of prominence, so that is good. Now I completely made this term up but Earth and Water are what I’d like to call Source Elements because many of their best techniques require sources for their maximum usage so make sure you read the terrain of the battle. Of course some of these techs can be created out of the air or from the inside of you, expelled by your mouth but most of the time it is best if you have a source of earth (since this is Doton class) if you want to be an efficient Doton user. These include any solid ground with grass, sand, or just rock, even forests; however, if you find yourself in an all water (that’s not shallow) environment, wooden floors/bridges, or steel ground like in Ame you will be in trouble.
It was a fight I had when Doton was my only mastered element.

Karin sits infront of Ragna, and in takes the knowledge that her senpai just explained to her. She graps onto the mound of dirt and starts to feel its texture, and mainly its properties.

Karin takes the chakra paper with her hand and starts to channel her chakra into the paper. Due to it being a chakra paper the paper would show which type of chakra the user would have so upon channeling her chakra in the paper. The paper would turn into dust due to the earth chakra responding with the paper.
Perfect...PERFECT, MWAHAHAHAH *damn he might think Im crazy* Any who we have some place to be...but before we get there I will need a few things...first thing I will need is some tools. This can be done using earth chakra to create tools out of the earth (not out of then air). So make a small earthen kunai, and a small shield. (Most people use the pillar variation)

Afterwards I need you to take a chunk of rock and then channel your chakra into it. You will then manipulate it so that it shapes into a earthen staff. Place them next tome as I evaluate your craftsman ship. (OOC: The staff can be thrown quite accurately. If you manipulate it into multiple staffs than its accuracy decreases but it does become harder for the enemy to dodge all of them while if its one staff the enemy would be able to find a way to avoid it. The single staff is also good to use as a melee weapon.)

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.
Karin focuses her chakra in the earth and then uses it to mold into earth based kunai and shield which she picks up and give to her senpai. Then she quickly picks up a nearby rock and channels her chakra into it, shaping it into a staff using her shape manipulation granted by the earth chakra. She also takes the earth staff to her senpai to showcase her ability with earth release.
Ragna lifts the tools up and weighs them in his hand. He then applies a little pressure and then smiles deviously to himself. "These will do....these will do...now let us go to the gated neighborhood of Bel Air. My friend lives here. We are going to play a little prank on him. First things first.....I'm going to hit the button that can open the gate with this kunai you made for me. MWAHAHAHAH *click* Okay distract the guards for me. I want you to channel your Doton chakra into your arm and then envision the earth;s nature. You will generate a ring of rocks around your arm and aim it in a general non populated area. This will create a diversion to take attention off of this area.

To further create a diversion channel your chakra into the ground a little ways off in another area and once you have a hold of it cause the ground to shake by creating small tremors. (These can be used to get the enemy off balanced or lose concentration. Make sure you obey time frame rules when using this jutsu as it can get pretty close.)

Karin nods towards her odd senpai and simply trusts his instructions, she focuses her chakra into her arm and thinks about the properties and qualities of earth, like how endurable it is, how dry and moist it can be and the alike. With the thoughts in her head, she releases the earth chakra from her arm in the form of a ring of rocks that are flung towards the forest to create the most noise and distraction. Then she quickly, uses her earth chakra sending it to the ground beneath her to shake it up causing small tremors, which further creates noise and makes small structures fall apart.
"Alright. Senpai, what now?" spoke Karin trying to stay quiet.

(Just quick note. This shaking jutsu is performed under opponent. Not sure if doing it directly under yourself is a good idea. If you did that then you would be subjected to its effects imo. However it can be used short range.
Okay there he is. My friend Edward Sama. I'm going to hop over the fence using this staff you made for me and I will hold a conversation with him. You will channel your chakra in the immediate viscinity and turn it into a loose sand like quality. You will dig underground (you can sense our movements above ground) and out of the two people you sense above Ed will be to the left. You will dig under our position and grab ed's foot...then.....

You will pull Ed down while you rise up until your positions have been switched. Only his head would remain on the surface and then we will make funny faces at him. He has an intense fear of zombies so that is where the prank is coming from. Try to make some Zombie sounds and what not.

She gathers her doton chakra and quickly sends it towards the ground beneath her and uses it to manipulate the ground and turn into a loose, fine quality like sand. She digs through the sand and makes her way towards Edward's location. Once she starts hearing her senpai making small talk with Edward, Karin realizes she is in the right location. She moves up while making groaning and making weird zombie noises and pulls Edward's foot as she moves herself up. As she pulls Edward into the ground, she pulls herself out of the ground allowing her to stand on the surface while Edward in the ground with only his head sticking out. Edward remains frightened and if he wasn't in the ground, one would clearly be able to see how wet his pants are from him pissing himself.

Certain situations/environments can seriously subtract from your aresnal. Its probably best to be well versed in at least two methods of fighting so that you cannot be taken advantage of for being one dimensional. If you're talented enough it won't matter though.
Remember always play to your advantage and stay true to yourself. If you're not controlling the fight odds are your opponent is.
