damn... i was looking for my drivers for my laptop and i happen to find my old stack of cd of naruto.... i watched all over again.... damn i miss the old naruto... where now power is all that matters... back then it takes skill and intellect.. just watched shikamaru fought that sound ninja girl and he intentionally duck and the sound girl hit her head at the wall and the pure taijutsu battle of sasuke chuunin exams vs oro and rock lee vs kimi and gaara... damn... back then the action was sssssssssssssssssoooooooooooooo much cooler...

I think Sasuke vs Deidara, Naruto vs Pain, Shikamaru vs Hidan, and Jiraiya vs Pain were the most technically sound and strategical fights in this series.
But you know the cool thing about part 2's fighting style? There is a near constant sense of danger. Part 1 is genins beating the shit out of each other and I'm a little tired of hearing about it to be honest. It was great, but I'll still take shippuden's action any day of the week.
But again that's just me. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. And I can see where you are coming from.

You are seriously retarded as hell if you think part 2 fights don't use strategy to win. Even in recent times, the obito vs kakashi, Naruto, and gai had plenty of strategic moves such as figuring out obito's s/t jutsus' function.

Not these retarded threads again. Part 1 was just the same old shit, always happy, not very interesting.
Part 2 added a whole new element, surprises, akatsuki, Rikudou, the Juubi, senju, uzumaki & uchiha clans. Part 2 is way better in terms of story & is much more interesting.

what ever... i was talking about the action.... part 1 has some pretty cool moves... the war... yeah.... they have tactics..... the only thing i saw they use tactics are obito and the gold silver bros when he goes berserk.... but now what action you see when its just a big 10 tails blowing on every one..... susanoo??? thats nothing compare to the action and in fights in part 1

part 1 was cooler because they actually used a bunch of sick ninja tools in the fights. I guess sasuke did throw that shriuken with his sword though.

Ninja tools have seen use. Naruto used smoke bombs to fight Pain, Kakashi uses kunai, Guy uses ninchucks(which he did not have in part 1), and not to mention Obito uses giant ninja tools. Madara uses and awesome fan as well.
the thing people forget about, is most of part 2 was like part 1, with the strategy and everything....the problem now is there is an ENTIRE WAR....wars dont allow for as much strategy and planning like the old battles had.
