Okay so just to clarify..Onoki IS the strongest Kage?

Are we settled on this? Because it isn't entirely certain with all the debating and all the tsunade hate being passed around. Kishimoto keeps upping all of their strength constantly so are we entirely sure?

And I mean strong not as in brute force, but as in general battle tactics altogether. Sure you can just name some strong jutsu that Onoki has but does that REALLY make him the strongest? You could do the same with Gaara or A and have the same result. This isn't who would win in a Kage deathmatch, that's not how rankings work. It's about who is generally the stronger and better ninja.

I'm personally not sure but know that Onoki would win in a brute force match but Gaara's defence is unparalled, and so are Mei's style combos, and so is A's speed and Tsunade's healing abilities and etc. etc. etc.

Not really. He doesn't have the body/stamina for it.

Onoki has huge battle experience.Greater than the others.His weakness is stamina due to age.
He can fly so his speed is really good too.
Dust release is an OP jutsu.
The only one who can dodge avoid dust release is A due to his incredible speed.
Tsunade and Mei are short to mid range fighters so they don't have many chances against him.
Gaara is a long range fighter but his sand is weak against dust and his defense won't do much against it.
A due to his speed he could avoid dust release and raiton is stronger that doton so this two would have a good match.
So for me is either Onoki or A.

Yea, I would say he is the strongest. Onoki can fly and Particle release is an incredibly powerful Jutsu. I don't see how anyone of them can counter it apart from A who can probably dodge it. But even then, how will A hit Onoki while he is in the air?

i believe onoki's jinton is quite a dangerous technique......but it can be obviously countered with speed....otherwide onoki's flying ability doesn't make him fast...honestly i think deidara can own him if he's able to evade that dust release attack somehow...however prime onoki maybe is more powerful...

i would still have to say he is the strongest, becuase as someone stated above, none of them can stop particle style and his flying , so his only downfall is that he is old and feeble haha
