It's money you get from posting,and the higher your post count get the higher your kumi get.And you can use it pay for sigs that you want made or rendered

Its the currency of NB. You can either donate it to people, or buy custom Avatars and/or Signatures from people. You gain more by posting(but don't spam)

It is something that I do not understand. How can you have 5,000 Kumi with only 17 posts?When I had 17 posts I had like 10 Kumi....
