Ok... this izanami stuff is REALLY getting on my nerves - I really need to address it

No where in the manga does it say that "Madara can counter izanami" or "Madara won't be affected by izanami"...

NO WHERE.

In fact, all that has been shown to us about izanami so far is that it has NO COUNTER. Once cast... that's it.

The ONLY way to get out of it (no ifs, ands or buts) is to change your decision (if it was cast on you).

So, im sorry... but to all those saying "madara won't get affected by izanami" - you're all saying pure 100 % nonsense.

VALID THINGS: Sasuke hasn't used izanami. OK. that we can debate.

However, saying "madara is immune to izanami" is bullshit.

To those saying "Izanami was made to counter those who don't want to accept their fate"... well madara clearly doesn't want to accept his fate - which is to die.
His whole life after near death was to come back to life 100 %.

Go back and CAREFULLY reread the manga pages where itachi and sasuke connect. In fact, I'm 100000000 % certain that Itachi explained every single detail of how izanami works (the cycles, the starting points, examples, etc..) to sasuke. It was shown to us as cannon.

He has not shown the ability to use it. Saying otherwise is just giving him feats he does not have. So for now, we can't say he does have it. Same goes for izanagi..

you're talking about tricking Madara (more knowledgeable than Itachi, would give both him and Sasuke lessons in the Uchiha's history/abilities), into falling for a UCHIHA Genjustu, not gonna happen.

BTW aside from all the Izanami stuff, the writer won't handicap Sasuke (leaving him with one eye).

I can agree with most of what you said. But I do want to point out, that at least based off what itachi said, izanami wont just work on anybody.

Can it work on Madara? Possibly. However I dont think izanami was used.

(what im getting at, is there is nothing wrong with someone saying Izanami wont work on madara. Saying it as a matter of fact is wrong, because it is unconfirmed. You can say it probably wont(or will) and give your support for why you think what you think)

Kabuto was really smart and yet he fell for Izanami pretty sure it could happen to madara as well , i will agree with you that i don't think he will use it for the fact that, that would leave him one eye short weak and handicaped.
