ill use spoiler tags when you use common sense, this section is pretty much dead so anybody with an iq above 10 could tell i'm on about this weeks chapter.

so for 10 years readers have believed that ichigo gained hollow powers because urahara and tessai were being idiotic and fcked up now suddenly your parents just have to be attacked and you get them? see the inconsistency there kiddo?

For the Hollow thing... Didn't Urahara (or someone else) say that there were multiple possibilities to gain Hollow powers as a Shinigami? The first was with the Hougyoku, while the second one - how Ichigo gained them - was vague.
Now, it has been said in the Fullbring arc that you're born with hollow powers if one of your parents was attacked by a hollow, so it makes sense to me that that was the second way to obtain Hollow powers.
