[Suggestion] Official Thread(Sticky) About A Certain Ongoing Popular Anime(Anime/Manga Section)

well just like the tittle say, it would be great if we have a certain discussion thread for a certain popular ongoing anime in every season in order to avoid multiple thread discussing about the anime......

lets take this Shingeki No Kyojin(Attack Of The Titans) for example, as most people know this series has been enjoying enormous popularity ever since the anime come out earlier this month and people who visit the Anime/Manga section forum can notice that there are tons of thread talking about this anime........... thus rendered the discussion in that multiple thread being ineffective,

i reckon that by having one thread for a certain ongoing popular anime the discussion will be more effective and will prevent other fans from making a new thread........

well you know like the "Legend Of Korra Thread" created by Caliburn a few months ago


so what do you think ?

People can already make such threads. It's just that most of them are too lazy to make them and even when they do, it's never conform with each other (which I find so extremely ironic as they have no issues whatsoever to copy the most crappiest threads from each other like it has no name without a second thought).

However I have no intention to sticky countless of threads, even more so when they would all be differently formatted. Yes I stickied each week a thread about the LoK episode, but yeah that was because I love that cartoon and I used the format based on the other official discussions threads.

If the anime is on gods than no way watching it. I hate the movie clash and wrath of the titans.
Ot. It would be good to have a single thread as most on narutobase dont know it. So it would save space.

agreed, I've been wondering about that after seeing the DBZ troll and now there is this Attack Of The Titans mobs creating 2-3 thread every week about the same topic......

well you don't have to sticky countless of thread...... 1 thread is enough and let them all discuss it in that thread....

It would only ever be one thread per anime and this would only happen what, once every three months when the new season anime come out? Not to mention we have three moderators in that section who could easily do this if the general public and higher ups like the idea. This season the only things I can think of that are even remotely popular are Attack on Titan and Devil Survivor 2, with the former the only one getting the threads.

OT, agree heavily with the idea, it's getting out of hand and people need to stop.

You are not getting it completely. One thread per anime? What about mangas, comics, cartoons etc.? Do you have any idea how many there are of those? Having 20 stickied threads goes against the purpose of sticking them in the first place. As I said people can just make themselves such official threads, I'm even willing to disregard the one month rule for such threads. But it remains a fact that most people can't follow nor maintain such a structure, which is the reason I never did it myself even though I thought about it a long time ago.

OR you can just make a fan thread...There's tons of anime that are ongoing and popular..If you sticky them all then there's no point in making Anime threads at all.

well we don't have to make each thread for each popular ongoing anime, we can only make it if the anime is popular enough in NB,,,,, we can determine that by seeing the amount of thread(enthusiasm) that created by the fans,,,,,


having said that i agree with that bolded part.... but i guess we need a new rule to prevent other members to create another thread except the official one.......

outside NB ? yeah there are tons of popular anime that ongoing right now but inside NB ? i can only see 2 or 3 anime that they liked right now

What do you mean by the discussion being ineffective in multiple thread? As in, it would be more effective if concentrated in one? How?
And, how does making many threads about this affect it all?
I'm not quite clear on what you mean here, could you please explain?
