not exactly. There is one real Nagato. One that lived to the times of Madara and the 1st. He was a child back then.

We actually dont know why the first and Madara fought. maybe it was because of nagato, the one we call Tobi?

yeah i believe this has something to do with nagato. but then again if tobi is nagato, what might be his relationship w/ uchiha clan massacre? tobi (whom itachi believed was madara) was the one wanting to do revenge.

also the madara guy says so nagato brat grew? how did he know bout nagato and did they exist in same time line? ... i suspect he has a rinnegan in the other hidden eye.. was not shown. and how can the masked guy know so much info on people if he has not lived that long

Sorry for another Tobi=? thread, but I started thinking about it, and well...

We know Tobi has been working with zetsu as far back as Narutos birth when Tobi attacked Kushina and fought Minato because when Minato hits Tobi, his arm gets all goo-like and almost falls off! ( link coming)

So with that in mind, it's totally possible that on the night Itachi slayed the uchiha, that Fugaku used a zetsu clone in his place to fool itachi into thinking he was killed. ( remember that even after death a zetsu clone can retain it's false appearance, like it did when it pretended to be Kisame)

Only 2 uchiha survived the slaughter, and both were Fugaku's own sons, which makes me think that was his plan all along. He wanted his sons to destroy konaha because the Senju clan had risen to power while the uchiha clan was left behind.

Being the leader of the Uchiha clan, I'm sure he had access to the hidden room as well as forbidden uchiha jutsu. That could be why Tobi knew what Izanagi was when he saw Danzo use it.

Also, if you look back at when Tobi attacked Kushina and Minato, we saw fugakus wife several times, but never saw Fugaku even though he was in charge of the konaha police. Isn't that suspicious when the head of police isn't around when shut is going down?

We also know that the Villiage elders suspected a Uchiha clan member had been the one to attack, and maybe they were right.

The only thing that doesn't fit is that we know Tobi was once in control of the mizukage jinchuriki, so would he have been missing from konaha alot? Not if he left a perfect zetsu clone at the village every time he left....

As i said. Tobi had a relationship to Madara. Because the first killed Madara (we know he did, look at his outfit and his age, its perfectly the same as he fought the first). He wanted revenge for his, maybe teacher, friend? Or Madara was controlling Tobi (Nagato). He simply wanted revenge and attacked the HLeaf.

He also helped to kill Uchiha clan, a REAL uchiha wwouldnt do this. But because the clan didnt wanted revenge for the slaughter of Madara, they were guilty as well.

And because, it seems Tobi/nagato really loved Madara, he took his name to become feared, respected in the ninja world.

finally, i was making the same thread, buy you beaten me to it, i agree that he is 1 of the posibilities, but i personally think he might have used Izanagi instead of Zetsu clone xd

its a good theory, but when predicting a manga, you also have to think of the man behind the curtain, meaning kishi!, and i dont think kishi would make tobi say all those things about madara without having an actual connection to him atleast!!

manga creators dont create pointless stories!!

I don't believe that tobi is madara anymore, not after this chapter.

My hypothesis is this:

Itachi was right, madara help him kill is clan

Nagato was one boy who receive his eyes from madara, and was controlled by madara. Madara wants peace. After all, 1º hokage gets to him, thats why all people believe that the evil madara was dead.

Tobi controlled one Kage to be able to obtain Kisame, and makes kisame enter into akatsuki, maybe like a spy for him.

tobi wants to bring someone of the death, with Nagato's Rinne Tensei.

With this i come to conclusion, this:

Tobi controleed kyuubi to attack konoaha, to let the uchiha control konoha. Madara finds out and help itachi.

Tobi controlled nagato and kill madara.

Tobi after kill madara and gets a stock of uchiha eyes and a the 1º hokage cells

Tobi become Madara to the world, controlling nagato and akatsuki, and when akatsuki was weak he himself enter as a member.

Tobi uses Izanagi and one unique tecnique of teleportation, with it he survive to Amaterasu
flames.

What is left to answer is who Tobi, and who he wants to bring from the death.

I believe that rinnegan eyes are unique in the world and only the sage of 6 paths have it, and only madara and the 1º hokage have acess to them.

We know that tobi is 100% new character, so I think is he is one of uchiha clan. Maybe the first one to uses Izanagi in the clan. This history line fits too in the theory of tobi is one of the elders of kanoha like danzo. :shrug:

Ya i agree with you. But that don't exclude my timeline history, only puts one more question, what was the relation of tobi with madara. Maybe is like you said is Obito. That for itself, answer a lot of questions.
