Yes I agree, that's why I wrote "so why is it so crazy to think that tobi could be another madara" meaning that its not too crazy to think that tobi could be another madara.

Tobi is Nagato Uchiha and I think rinnegan is mutation of sharingan and he gave it to young nagato alias PAIN cause he found interesting EMS ( one which allows hi to solidify at his will ) and maybe he used PAIN so that even if he died he could be brought back and if PAIN dies he would take PAIN's rinnegan back.

Yeah I know I'm actually excited that it's madara too, I can't wait until next week to actually see him fight. My question is who's going to stop him? How can the alliance stop one of the strongest ninjas of ALL TIME. What will be Sasuke's reaction after finding out that Tobi isn't the real Madara. So many questions.

After chapter 559, we discover that the last coffin person was Madara... O.O . But one question remains; Who in the world is Tobi?

my greatest guess is that madara actually lived up till he revealed himself to kisame , then he killed himself to keep everything on a low profile. but before he killed himself he done some experiments on figuring out so6p and one of his tests was nagato(probably as a todler/baby) and he gave nagato the potential to unlock the rinnegan, by then tobi(that was his code name just to get around places) must of been at his teens and i think zetsu was his acquaintance(friend?) at that point. and real madara left everything to tobi(madara) while real madara gets shoved under the rug(killed off) and then the final plan will be to control the whole world.interesting but why when "Madara" was revived he said something like he knew he would get revived but it wouldnt be Tobi but Nagato .. its seems like he knew him somehow

--> conclusion: The "Nagato" we know, had NOT the Rinnengan from birth on!
- Now Madara says: Nagato has grown up. So he knows Nagato.
Conclusion:
The Nagato we know is just a normal Uzumaki, a person that can handle the eyes.
But: He is NOT the real Nagato.
The real nagato lived at the times of Madara Uchiha. Maybe he was a child at this time. As he wanted to achieve full power, he had to take one Uchihas eyes to control them. Like Kakashi needed time to control them fully and to unleash EMS. But he needed someone for his real eyes. So he searched for someone that can handle his real eyes. So he gave his eyes the kid we know as Nagato.
So:
Tobi is the real nagato!
And Madara knows him. The time gap is gone, and we now understand why Tobi said he gave "Nagato" his eyes."
