The sun was beaming down as the droplets of rushing waters came crashing against the firm basin of earth that held the clear blue water in place. The wind blew and whistling in the leaves of the surrounding trees. It was serene and peaceful to Saito as he was on the ground leaning against the trunk of a tree under the shade. As relaxed as he had seemed, he harbored much anxiety over the possibility of plateauing in strength and fortitude do the lack of combat. No matter how much drill practice and meditation he does, it will never equate to battle experience. He needed to find someone of equal or greater skill to push himself pass his limit. Unfortunately, it's been difficult due to his reputation preceding him causing all nearby to avoid him. Weaklings, all of them.

Just as he sighed in reluctance of finding a worthy enemy to fight, Saito notices a man, a young individual, looking to be in his early 20's though his age is unknown. Standing 6 feet tall with a slim, toned build, he seems to have the perfect athletic build. His hair has a blonde tone to it, which seems to flow with his outfit, and his piercing blue eyes, often with clear marks of his lack of sleep. For clothing he is in his white robes and cloak, fashioned with tradition samurai armaments, with gold chains holding his cloak in place. On his waist is a traditional katana with minimalist details. Across his back is his sand gourd.

The weapon symbolized combat and that is what Saito was looking for and cause of that, he sprung onto his feet and blocked the man's path 10m before him. With Saito's katana in hand as it hangs from his right hip he points to the man and proclaims loud enough for his voice to travel

I challenge you to a Duel to the Death! No use in asking your permission. Survival of the fittest and all. Those that are unable to protect their life with their own strength doesn't deserve it! Show me how much your life is worth!

*Saito grips his katana before quickly drawing, flowing chakra thru the blade, extending and sharpening the blade using shape manipulation, and releasing the chakra towards the opponent in a swift swing of the sword. The ark wave of chakra is aimed to slash diagonally across the torso of the opponent. At the release of the ark wave of chakra, Saito closely follows it, with sword sheathed and in hand. Once the opponent takes damage, Saito performs a quick dash towards his opponent quickly draw and slashing their opponent and quickly passing them. Once behind the opponent, Saito quickly pivots on his right foot and utilizes his chakra to suddenly draw and slash his opponent laterally at his waist slicing his body in half and defeating his opponent.*

Description: This technique is unique to samurai, which employs the concept of chakra flow techniques similar to the Flying Sparrow and ( Kusanagi ) - Chidori Spear. The user channels their chakra through their swords and extends the reach and the cutting ability of the blade, allowing him to be capable of firing crescents of chakra. These crescents are capable of combating equal ranked Elemental Ninjutsu. The samurai have also shown the ability to use shape transformation, as they can form their chakra blades into giant buzz saws, broad swords, spiked shafts, and axes. This ability allows them to rely on smaller swords while retaining greater reach, damage, and surprise attacks as needed.

At A rank, this technique is capable of preventing more than 2 Hand Seals from being chained together. S rank prevents from than one seal from being completed while Forbidden ranked usage is capable of preventing even one handseal but can only be used twice a battle.

Sin had travelled for months at this point searching for a way to spend his life with the loss of his brother. He'd been through much adversity, faced many foes, come close to death itself, yet his bond with the beast within had only grown stronger. He never felt as alone as he had before, though still wandering these lands he felt partially empty. He'd fought to survive, though he wasn't sure why at this point. He'd even killed to protect his life, and yet here he stood wondering about what he fought for.

Dragged from his never ending thoughts, he found himself at a like of creek facing a warrior, blade in hand, who threw a challenge to the death his way. What was with these people? Had he not been through enough already? As his foe aimed to attack him, Sin didn't have to think, or react, his own natural defence formed, completely blocking the attacks before any harm could come to him. It had always been this way, though now his sand was stronger and neutral to all. As the sand protected him, in the same timeframe, Sin controlled the ground before him to raise in a wave of sand and push forth, washing over his for, washing them away in a mass of sand. This took minimal effort, but the power and control was flawless.

"I have no interest in those who place the value of a human life on a metal blade. Take your life and leave while you can."​

( Suna no Tate ) - Shield of Sand

Description: A self sustaining, self aware, autonomous defense, its the technique which made Gaara renown for having what was later called "Perfect Defense". Basically, any Sand nearby will encircle the user and move to intercept any attack that is used against him. The sand is fast enough to intercept otherwise "instant" techniques such as Amaterasu or very fast Taijutsu attacks (up to trice the users base speed) and can stop A-Rank blunt force impacts such as those delivered by Taijutsu or solid elements. The sand can even create an otherwise perfect sphere of sand around the user in a split second. Even if the user is unaware of an attack, the sand will protect him. The disadvantage is that the shield will drain chakra from the user each time it defends him, which happens without his input. However, the user can still defend from techniques and "will" the shield to not act if he is in the process of producing a counter to the impending attack. In some special circumstances, the sand can gather and form a female-like protector in the path of an incoming technique, much stronger than the normal shield of sand and which can protect the user from attacks up to S-Rank.
Note: Its defensive abilities still follow elemental weakness and strengths.
Note: If there is no dirt or sand on the battle field, the technique will use the users own Sand from his Sand Gourd.
Note: S-Rank protection will disable the Sand Shield for 2 turns and can only be activated once every 4 turns.

( Suna no Ryuusui ) – Stream of Sand

Description: The user gathers sand below his opponents and makes them move away, creating a stream or like a continuous wave of sand to push the target in the desired direction. It is used to incapacitate the opponent without harm.

*At the sight of his ark wave completely nullified by what appears to be sand, Saito noticed activity in the ground beneath his feet as the opponent gathers sand for his next attack quickly freeform Dodge up to 10m away to his left(the opponent's right) with the forest of trees behind him. From there Saito released the weights around his ankles hidden under his hakama while keeping his opponent in sight. He will then advance back in at the same pace as before as he draws his sword and release a pressurised cresent blade of chakra at the target with the upward swing causing them to be hit with a strong force of chakra before following up with a two-handed falling vertical slash to the opponent. *

Seems I'll be able to put some effort into this duel after all!


(Katai Omori) Leg Weights

Description: An advanced version of the normal Leg Weights created for those dedicated to their craft, the Advanced Leg Weights increase the stress and weight applied to the user in order to achieve an even higher payoff. When inactive and worn, the user experiences a -3 Speed level drop due to the intense weight slowing him down. However, when released, the user gains a drastic boost to his base running speed (x4) and +35 to all his kick-related moves. Much like the weaker versions, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other. Only one of the user's bio can have these weights at any time.
