Both are renowned and critically acclaimed authors, so I was wondering who Narutobase considers the more skilled and proficient writer. Some parameters and metrics to consider:

-Creativity
-World Building
-Characterdevelopment
-Themes and symbolism
-Complexity
-Suspense and mystery
-Plot and purpose of stories
-Coherency and cohesion
-Logicality (no asspulls, dues ex machines, plot holes etc.)
- Consistency

Also, which story do you think is better, OP or Hunter x Hunter?

Eiichiro Goda neg diff.

No mangaka made me so hype over a manga like Oda did with One Piece.

He is just a genius,he just is.

Oda isn't really that much of a genius. He's great, but genius is a word reserved for authors like the creators of Death Note and Vagabond. That's genius
Death Note is the typical tragic hero story where the protagonist goes bad. Nothing genius about it. It's not bad of course but nothing genius.

Clearly you dont know shit about good writing, you've already said two extremely incorrect statements. I'll just let you live in your fantasy world where kishi is a good writer when he isn't.
Death note a typical tragic story? Did you flunk your (non existent) English course in school? DB good writing? Is this the level of trolling NB considers good? smh...

Death Note is the acme of good writing, as evidenced by the plethora of in depth discussions and debates spawned by the complex and grey issues the story deals with. No anime has yet to challenge a paradigm as much as Death Note, few anime can actually claim to be as nuanced as Death Note in its posing moral dilemmas. There are better stories than DN, but it is one of the all time greats and rightfully so

Ok doesn't make it genius like I said. Lets not drag this out and end it here please. Of you disagree just agree to disagree with me.

And about DB you and o both know you don't know what written well even means, because the whole notion that DB is written badly comes was started by people watching other anime and feeling as though DB was only good due to nostalgia and not because they know what they are talking about. Which is why virtually every argument amongst the anime community as to why DB is written badly can be summed up as ots not like other anime that I like or its to simple. None of wich has anything to do with good or bad writing. I've heard all the arguments so don't even try to start a DB is badly written debate you will fail. Especially since you clearly dont know good/bad writing in the first place seeing as how you agree that dragon ball is badly written

Oda simply cause he is doing it consistently nonstop.

Togashi is up there but he hasn't shown he can keep his work top tier on the level Oda has for that long. If Togashi was constantly pumping chapters out and his quality didn't drop (Like Oda) then this would be a tougher decision.

Edit:

-Creativity = Oda (pretty easily, he managed to make a guy who walks around in a pink fur coat badass)
-World Building = Oda (close but Oda does it best)
-Characterdevelopment = Togashi (Oda's main cast is fairly stagnant in comparison to Togashi's)
-Themes and symbolism = Oda (Too many to count, too many references)
-Complexity = Togashi (Most complex characters in Shonen, example - Meruem, Sensui etc.)
-Suspense and mystery = Togashi (Mystery department is close probably Oda, but HxH definitely has more suspense due to people actually dying)
-Plot and purpose of stories = Oda
-Coherency and cohesion = Oda (Everything is planned out from start to finish, planning is on another level from Oda)
-Logicality (no asspulls, dues ex machines, plot holes etc.) = Togashi (too much deus ex in One Piece)
- Consistency = Oda (Togashi hasn't been doing it for as long as Oda, he keeps stopping)

based off your metrics I have

6-4 in favour of Oda.

Creativity - Togashi
-World Building - Togashi (would have said oda since togashi is in hiatus and we have seen more from oda but the nw is lame so far and i hope it gets way better)
-Characterdevelopment - Togashi (obvious that kubo and kishi are both at the bottom with this)
-Themes and symbolism - Draw Togashi/Oda
-Complexity - Togashi
-Suspense and mystery - Togashi
-Plot and purpose of stories - Draw Togashi/Oda
-Coherency and cohesion Togashi
-Logicality (no asspulls, dues ex machines, plot holes etc.) - Togashi
- Consistency - Oda
