Before you ask:
2T is the second stage of the sharingan. It increases the speed which the user can track movements at up to 2X their own speed. It also allows the user to perceive and copy motions to some extent as long as they are physically able to preform them. The user can also, by reading handseals, predict ninjutsu to some extent. They cannot however start using handseals before the enemy starts the handseals for a certain technique yet, and must follow timeframe when using this ability. The user can also pierce visual rank C genjutsu.

Let's see.
A single Tomoe sharingan can:
-Not tell you are under a genjutsu as it cannot see chakra agitation, while the 2T can.
-Track speeds 1.5x faster than you
-Break D rank visual genjutsu
-Determine chakra nature and shape through solid objects or otherwise giving a "chakra heat vision" effect
-Lock on and distinguish between individual chakra signatures.


That's what it does.

If 1T can't see chakra 'agitation' as you put it, why would you reason it can see chakra at all?

The sharingan can differentiate between different types of chakra, of course it can see if your own or someone else's chakra flow, is under the effects of a genjutsu...

So adding onto that, what can't the sharingan see through (ie what blocks the sharingan's chakra vision)?

I'll also have you activate your Sharingan please... we're going to treat the next few posts as an RP training-fight.

Alright. I only said that because somebody said I couldn't reason I was under a genjutsu like that with 1T. I figured they didn't know shit, but was being frugal JIC.

Any substance colored to the enemies chakra can block the sharingan's vision. Sharingan is like chakra heat vision, where chakra is the heat. So behind a metal wall? Sure, you can see your opponent's shape in chakra. Behind the hidden mist, which is colored with the user's chakra, nope.

Kirito, standing, closes his eyes, then opens them, forcing chakra into them. This causing them to turn a dark red, and swirl, revealing a single tomoe moving around each pupil. He then readies himself for battle, entering a standard combat stance.
