Obito's/Tobi's age and a possibly correct timeline

* Obito: circa 4(x years 7 months) years older than Kakashi
# Academy = started along with Kakashi, as of age 8, graduated at 9
# Chunin = failed the exams twice, once at 9, then at 10 and succeed as 11 years old

* Kakashi: circa 4(x years 7 months) years younger than Obito
# Academy = started along with Obito, as of age 4, graduated at 5
# Chunin = promoted at 6
# Jounin = 7
[When Obito succeed to become Chunin at 11, Kakashi was 7 and as of chapter 599 it was a recent promotion, thus they went fighting to the 3rd Shinobi World War right after]

Kakashi was 1 month after his 14th's birthday during the Fox's attack.
When Kakashi turned 30 in Shippuden, it was 15 years and 11 months after Obito's/Tobi's Fox attack.
Thus Obito/Tobi fought Minato as 19 years old man.
So Obito's:
* Age at the time of a presumed death/Gaiden: 11
* Fighting Minato/4th Hokage: 19
* Part II: 34-35

He had circa 8 years to train under Madara and turn evil, the original presumed timeline didn't work and had errors because everyone assumed Kakashi and Obito being the same age, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

This would mean that the 3rd Shinobi World War lasted at least 6-7 years;

obito was not 19 at the time he fought minato? want the proof minato was his sensei when he was 13 years old, minato age was 19-23 during the 3rd shinobi war

Kakashi wasn't promoted to Jounin at the age of 13, at least try to read.
That always was just narutowikia's assumption and it spread as a fact among the whole fanbase. There's no official source for that.

No, he wasn't. There's no official source/statement for that, read above. According to chapter 599 and a databook, Obito got promoted to Chunin at 11 and it was at the same time as Kakashi got promoted to Jounin. As the latter is 4 years younger, he was 7 not 13

What messes this all up is Kishi and his overrating of Kakashi. If Kishi never said Kakashi was chuunin at 6 we wouldn't be having half the problems we do. And it makes it more obvious that Kishi wasn't exactly sure where the series was going in the beginning.

Well i know they do, but obviously you don't. They have all given legitimate information about the ages of Kakashi and Obito. Kakashi was not 7 when he got Obito's sharingan (that was within days of when he became a jonin) and Minato was NOT Hokage for 8 years. before you try to tell people to read, shut the **** up and do it yourself.
