.Obito continues an untold story about his secret life.
I was in a middle of training, using Kamui. In that other dimension where Kamui leads to, I used to collect some items that may help me achieving my goal.
I opened Kamui’s dimension, and surprisingly , instead of getting to standard place, I ended up in a little bit different looking dimension. That was a big surprise to me. I was looking around, walking, researching, I thought that this could be some kind of power that I acquired during my training with Mangekyo Sharingan.
After a couple of minutes, I saw something. As I was approaching, I realized that it is a man. Very old man, with long white beard, his appearance was very close to Naruto’s, when he obtained full control of Kurama’s chakra, but the differences were very apparent. That old man was whole white, with black four-way stars on his cloak. It was very strange, I knew that when you control large power, you get a different sign, and that is Tomoe. These four-way stars were very different from Tomoe.
Finally, I was only a few steps away from him. He was sitting, with both his eyes closed. Now I spotted the same four-way star on his forehead. It differed from the others because of its color, it was green. Suddenly, he opened his eyes. It was like a Sun shining to my eyes. Now I realized, I’m certainly under a genjutsu. The old man started the conversation with his deep voice.
He: So, the time has finally come for us to meet each other.
I: Who are you, gramps?
He: Who am I? This is a very good question. I won’t give you an answer right now.
I: How dare you keep me under your genjutsu? Do you know who I am?
I came closer to him, because I wanted him to see my Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He started laughing.
He: Hahaha. You are not under a genjutsu, see for yourself, try to release it.
He had a point. I could not release myself, it was not a genjutsu.
He: And yes, I know who you are. Indeed, I made you, I created your path of destiny.
I remembered my pain. I got really mad. A picture of that night, when it all began, when Rin died before my eyes, was the only thing inside my head. As a result of my rage, I started weaving signs…
I: Katon : Bomb blast dance!!
He stopped it with a single move of his finger.
He: Hahaha, reckless attack. This really looks like you. Now, calm down, young one. You will see your beloved again, don’t worry about it.

He looked me with those two green shiny eyes. They reminded me of Sharingan. His eyes were rotating, but not all the time. Just for a moment.
I: You can reunite me with Rin? – I asked curiously.
He: I told you. I am not a human, I am something more. I can do things that you cannot even imagine.
I: Hahaha, now you sound like a kid. You are not Madara, but you are very similar to him.
He started laughing like a madman.
He: Hahahaha. Madara, you said? He turned up to be useful to me. Kaguya surely regrets his creation. Instead of helping them, he will clash with them.
I: Who is that woman you just mentioned?
He: She is not a woman either. She is like me, something more than human can imagine. That “woman” how you called her is one of my enemies, the traitor. She and her minions betrayed me and my master. And they will pay a price for that betrayal. I will explain that to you. My master is the almighty one, the one who created everything that you can see in this shinobi world. In order to rule the world, he created Kaguya, me, and 4 more servants. At the beginning it was great. Each of us had a different task. The time passed, and we all did our jobs great. The world was a peaceful place. One day, Kaguya invited me to a conversation. She said: ,, I have to ask you something. I collected enough power to take over the rudder. The master is too weak now to stop us. I found a way of recreating the whole shinobi world, we should be our own masters. Just imagine that power that we will obtain together. Do you agree?” Of course, I knew that I cannot betray my creator, the one who gave me everything I have, so I told her I need more time to respond. I went straight to my master, I started: ,,My lord, I have something important to tell you.” He said: ,, I know my son. Let Kaguya do whatever she wants to, its her choice. Remember that those who betray, will be betrayed.” These words exploded inside my mind. Kaguya realized that I won’t be at her side so she forced my two brothers to betray us. Kaguya and those two, turned against us ,and did a coup d'etat . It was the first great war in the history of this world. We annihilated them, Kaguya was very close to death, and I wanted to deliver the final blow and kill her. I swung with my sword, but he stopped it. He said: ,, I know that you want to kill her now, but that is not our way.” ,,But father, she betrayed us .”, I said , and he continued: ,, Its her choice. Remember that those who betray, will be betrayed.” She and my 2 brothers were expelled from the sky. We threw them to the Earth, and took their powers away, or we just thought so. That traitor Kaguya remembered how to use a creation of all things, and she regained her power, and created the minions to serve her.
Our father cursed her, that her soul will never find peace again. And so, she became desperate. She wants to obtain enough power to kill me and my comrades, and rule the world all by herself. In order to get enough power, she wants to capture all the shinobi in this world under a global genjutsu, in order to drain their lifeforce. That’s why I am here, to help this world survive. You already know that in this world we have light and darkness, yin and yang, if there is not balance between them, the world starts rooting. If yin take over yang in your soul, you become a marionette that serves Kaguya. Those full with yin are easy controllable to Kaguya, since her soul is made only of yin. That’s why she cannot find piece in her soul, that’s why she is thirsty for more and more power. Of course there is no end in that thirst. You posses the Sharingan. Those like you, who posses it two, are cursed with this thirst for power and vengeance. As the Sharingan owner gets more and more power, they get more and more thirsty. But those who overcome this thirst, they never feel that thirst again, and their souls become solid like a rock. You have this thirst for power now, but you will overcome it. I will help you. I already drone and influenced on some big events in the past, but I cannot do everything by myself. You must know about that time when Konoha was formed. I encouraged that idea, I gave my strength to Hashirama Senju to fulfill his dream and his destiny. Thanks to that event, this world exists like we know it today. When Kaguya realized that I helped Hashirama, she took over Madara. She made him angry, to leave the village he created, and then to try to destroy it. Those Uchihas will produce even more hatred to this world, I know you are not that strong to do it by yourself , but I want you to indirectly destroy your own Uchiha clan.
When I heard this, the old man’s eyes flashed, and again that quick rotation like Sharingan’s.
I: Me, to destroy Uchiha clan? You are nuts old man.
He: As I said its indirectly, you won’t attack the Uchiha clan, you will attack Konoha!
Again that flash and rotation in his eyes.
I: I want to get revenge over Konoha for killing Rin. I will help you old man even if I don’t trust you.
He: Konoha didn’t kill Rin, she killed herself, and you know that well, don’t you?
I : I started believing him, even I do not know how.
He: From now on, you work for me, you leave Madara and his unreal dreams, and you join my side. I will reunite you with Rin, I will not promise as Madara did, and then to break my promise. I will give you something more than just a promise.
He approached, touched my chest with his finger, and a four-way star sign appeared.
He: When you finish your task, and die, with this bless mark, your soul will be released from its curses, you will meet Rin. Now, to return me a favor, you will attack Konoha. You will use Kurama to help you. You and Kurama will make a big damage to Konoha, and I will make people of the village think that Uchihas are responsible for the attack. This will result in killing the whole Uchiha clan, except one boy, who will do a few tasks for me and help me in saving this world. After your attack, there will be another child that will have my will. I will make 4th Hokage Minato Namikaze to seal Kurama’s chakra inside that boy. I only hope that Kaguya won’t be able to stop this, or kill him in the future. Much things will depend on that boy, as they do right now on you. You must do this necessary task exactly like I said to you. I know Minato Namikaze is your former sensei, but you have to overcome feelings, you will be responsible for his death. But, not to worry, I will make him realize why you did that, of course, when the time has come for it.
One more thing, we are inside your mind now. This is not the other dimension like you thought, and Kamui leads here too. There are no different dimensions, its all inside your mind. Your Mangekyo Sharingan is just an entrance to this place. This conversation will be known only to you. It will be unreachable for your other side of the body, or better to say that spy Kaguya made to help her. Also, you do not need to be grateful to Madara, he is not the one who saved you from that rock, its me.
