Obitos MS flawed?

Ok so i read chapter 605 and its confirmed when obito got his MS along with his ability to "slip" through things

So my question i put to you is how with a 2 tomoe sharingan did he survive the rocks which crushed him

As Madara states " Its amazing you wernt washed away with the rubble, almost as if you slipped through it"
alluding to his unique MS dojutsu to teleport but how if this ability was only activated later?

Any theories to clear this up?

I just think that it means that it was foreshadowing that Obito was going to have such ability. He actually didnt slip through the rocks.
