He would have had less chakra, which would mean when he got owned again he would have less to give to Kakashi.

Doesn't Izanagi fully restore, him minus one eye? At that point he could just use perfect susanoo himself instead of becoming Kakashi's super ghost friend...?
He would have had less chakra.

Yeah but would it be subtracted from his fully restored body of the weakened state he was in? And would he regain chakra from being restored?
His body would return to how it was before he was hit with the Ash Bone.He would still die minutes later which was in inevitable,or he die seconds later from another Ash Bone.

Izanagi rewrites physical damage but can't recover chakra. With each use the user loses chakra. For example, when Danzo was hit by Sasuke's Susano'o arrow,he used Izanagi which brought him back to the state he was in physically before he got hit.

Chapter 479 explains the Technique.Infact, the chapter title itself is called,"Izanagi".

Did his chakra go down because Izanagi took its tole or was it because he no longer got a boost from the specific sharingan? And if reverses all damage (implies chakra loss) and fully restore it as seen in the next page. B-)
