No it's not. Nagato had no legitimate reason to kill them in the first place.

You made this too easy. I'll give you that Itachi wasn't completely selfless, but he was still far more so than Obito.

Now then the easy part, Obito did not give a damn about anyone but himself. He was thinking of one thing only, being in the I.T so he could see Rin again. The proof? Look at how many people he killed, he even tried to kill the entire SA by blowing them up. Anyone other than himself being in I.T. was just a bonus.
He stated to Naruto that it would be easier to just submit so that he along with Obito could help stop other tragedies like Nejis death from happening. Obito giving in to Narutos TnJ even proves that there was still good in him as Naruto also points out. Seriously, if you're gonna argue use some facts rather than just plain assumptions.

Don't try to justify this crime by stating he saved countless more in doing so. By this logic, obito is a greater hero than itachi because he rescued sasuke, hence literally saving the world. Without Naruto & sasuke's seal together, the world would be doomed. The fact is mass murder cannot be justified no matter what, its idiotic in thinking such is the answer to peace.
It's not a crime. Your logic is ridiculous, Obito saved Sasuke so he saved the world? No Sasuke will save the world. Mass murder is justified in this case.

It would be easier on himself, then he wouldn't have to kill them all. All you proved is how selfish he is. He also didn't want to kill Naruto because Naruto reminded him of what? Himself yeah.:|

Man I find it extremely sad that people still do not understand the story of itachi uchiha... He was a self less hero, stop doubting it and accept it. The uchiha massacre was always going to happen... Itachi stepped in to save the brother he loved dearly and preserve the reputation of the uchiha. Stop with your ignorance and embrace one of the characters with the most depth in naruto.

And who is Naruto? Somebody who cares for the world around him and his comrades. Btw you just said that Obito is selfish for not wanting to kill people. Let's let that sink in. :|

He is selfish because he didn't want to go through the trouble of killing them, and he probably didn't want to kill anymore people. Let THAT sink in. You realize that Naruto was nothing like adult Obito? He reminded Obito of the way he used to be.

What? So now not wanting to kill people is a bad thing? Okay...

Also, Obito was having thoughts of what his life would have been like if he had stayed good. Did I ever say Obito was a good person? No, I said that he wasn't selfish. My point is that he had good intentions, but went about it the wrong way.

Yes he did, without obito who else could've rescued sasuke?

What made it selfish was that he only didn't want to kill them to make it easier on himself. He had good intentions for himself you mean? Because all he cared about was seeing Rin again in the Infinite Tsukyomi.

No one. That doesn't mean he saved the world.

Its okay to be butthurt. Everyone always is when I prove them wrong Lol
Its been stated numerous times that both Naruto & Sasuke are needed to seal kaguya. Once she warped sasuke obito was the only hope for sasuke to return. You stated that no one besides Obito could've rescued sasuke yet you claim he didn't play a major role in saving the world? LoL faptards are mental.
