Does he really need a "trick?" If anything MS was more of a trick then FTG but if it worked the first time, when why not the second?
explain how it would work

In a battle of speed and analysis, minato still win the fight. .
Summons or Bijuus won't make a difference. Since both are space time users, their fight will never end in a same place, so unless you think Obito will be summoning his Gedo Mazo or Bijuus everywhere they go(and it would always take a lot of chakra), fighting with them would be useless.
So basically it will always have to be a 1vs1 if they were to fight and we already know how it ended. Even if somehow, Minato decides not to transfer the fight somewhere and is forced to fight the Tailed Beasts, the contract seal will stop Obito's control over them and the outcome will be the same if not worse, since i think that Tailed Beasts would want to kill the one who tried to control them. So at worse, it could even end to a Minato+Tailed Beasts vs Obito. Good luck
That's what I said
But it's more of a feeling that Kishi already showed us who's on top, so I don't think that it would change, and even if it did it'd kinda be cheap considering the fact that Obito spent his time getting stronger while Minato played dead
I think Obito would take it this time around. Why? He would have 6 Edo jinchuuriki to occupy Minato whereas he could remain intangible. Minato would tire out after say, 2-3 Edo jinchuuriki (it's hard enough to beat 1 jinchuuriki when they're alive and don't have Sharingan and Rinnegan in each eye, so I'm doing Minato a favor). If he's tired by that point, you know he's not winning; Obito low-diff.
Anyways, it's quite obvious that Minato's still smarter than Obito. But how would that matter when Obito has his Edo jinchuuriki to fight for him? The fact is, this fight doesn't NEED to be a S/T one. If it had to be one, then why isn't Tobirama included in this fight? If they had a S/T fight again, I wouldn't be sure who would win. If Minato were still alive, I'm sure he would've perfected his element with the Rasengan, and would have improved on his S/T; Minato high-diff. If Minato were revived with Edo somehow to fight against Obito with his previous abilities, Obito's taking this mid-diff.
Four Symbols Seal counters Gedo Mazo. It will seal the beast away. Minato can touch and teleport the fan away, their encounter will basically repeat itself except that Obito has more openings this time since he becomes solid in order to launch shuriken and stakes. The fire techs are easily countered by S/T barrier and the Uchiha Battle Encampment is countered by just teleporting right out of it. Also, there's also the possibility that Minato can summon the Sages to genjutsu him. Obito doesn't seem predisposed to using Sharingan genjutsu in a fight as he didn't at all iin this fight and only used it after defeating Konan, not during the fight and Minato doesn't seem to be predisposed to looking into his Sharingan since they were point black and face to face yet Minato couldn't remember a Sharingan when he flashed back to Obito. Minato has the advantage, he always did.
You mentioned Obito being able to go intangible before he gets screwed, he react in time before. Even A couldn't react in time to move.
Again, as stated by repulse, there are no Edo Jinchuriki, those are created by Kabuto.
Please read the whole VS discussion thread if you wish to take part as some facts you think of may have already been countered before you post.
I apologize, I read this over before I created my account and forgot. However, I still stand on the fact that Obito has doubled in age and experience since that fight; the fact that he performed so well against a Kage-level ninja (scratch that, Minato IS a Kage) at 14-16 is quite remarkable. Now that he's 30-32, possibly older than Minato was, do you really think he'd lose? With the sharingan, he most definitely remembers how he lost, and his years of being with his sensei should help him out.

Even if his experience has changed you can't really change the speed of a Space/Time Technique.
No need to be sorry ^_^
You are right, he''s probably gotten better, but it's not a good comparison as Minato said "It all comes down to speed, whoever strikes a split second earlier will win"
You can't attack faster with Kaumi as it's a space time technique but Minato said that Tobi's Space time was better than his own (probably due to its versatility) however it doesn't prove that his newly found experience would be able to trump Minato. Or maybe perhaps I'm being obsessive over this and it would. Hence why I cannot come to a conclusion![]()
Obito was overconfident the last time and underestimated Minato, forgetting about the flying kunai. He's not going to make the same mistake a second time.
With all the planning he has gone through, I just can't see Obito (with his MS and Rinnegan) losing to Minato. The fact that Obito can decide when he can get hit (he can remain intangible and do nothing for who knows how long, Minato will tire eventually) alone makes it unlikely for Minato to win.
I don't think Obito understimated Minato! Minato was Obito's sensei, he knows that Minato is strong.
Obito's S/T justu at that time when he was just 14 - he had just started using Kamui - according to Minato, surpassed his own S/T jutsu. You must be registered for see links. And people think that now that Obito has such mastery over it; Minato can beat him? rofl
Not even fair, at this point Minato will be raped beyond recognition.
