Allright, now, how exactly does hagoromo hit him long enough to do the Yin/Yang seal? Since Kaguya was almost sealed right at the start but threw naruto and sasuke off her before they sealed her, So clearly it takes time to perform, something that going intangible does not.

Hagoromo before he became juubi jin needed hamura's help to take down the juubi, while Obito sealed it with a gaping hole in his chest. Two bijuu worth of chakra is not enough of a compensation for having your enemy not critically wounded and helped by his allpowerful brother.

Hagoromo seems to think that the only way of stopping a juubi jin is by sealing them, but Obito have firsthand knowleage that extracting the juubi works just as well, so if obito can win a mindwrestling match with Hagoromo he wins.
