Ok let me just start by saying this is just a thought and I don't really think its fact but I still want to just throw this out there.
Has anyone noticed that Naruto and Obito look near identical? I don't know if this is by design or just coincidence. But, if my memory is correct, I think Kakashi noted that Naruto reminds him of Obito, this might have been about Minato and I'm just mixing it up but I don't remember. Anyway could it be that Naruto and Obito are somehow related? I don't think so but I'm thinking its a possibility.
I've mentioned this before about the Uzumaki maybe being Blood relatives of the Senju and Uchiha and this is why Nagato might have been able to use the Rinnegan. So if that is true then maybe it was on purpose that Obito and Naruto look similar.
I do think it would work nicely to have someone on the Senju, Nawaki, and someone on the uchiha, Obito, Look exactly like Naruto. Of course Nawaki is of the senju and Uzumaki presumably, because of Mito Uzumaki. So Nawaki isn't a good example since he does have Uzumaki blood in him, well assuming he does.
Anyway sorry for the long rant and please no hating, this is not a theory nor do I think this is true just a possibility and not likely though. But what are your thoughts on this?

Obito was minato's student and Naruto minato's son... If Minato had any blood-relation with Obito, I think it would be mentioned. Anyway, they are distand coussins, since they are both related to the SO6P but anyway...

Oh my gosh I was literally just thinking that. Not only are their appearances the same (spiky hair, orange cloths, face and eye shape) but their personalities are almost identical. They both seemed optomistic loyal to their friends, both determined, both had a rivalry in their group (kakashi, sasuke) both had a love intrest in their group ( rin, sakura) and they both did that weird thumbs up thing. Idk if this was on purpose but its a little creepy. Im in love with obito btw :p

That is probably what it is, Kishi probably did this on purpose, I just came back to this because I was talking to a friend about the Uzumaki's and how they might somehow be both Senju and Uchiha, meaning A direct Uchiha and a direct Senju had a child, Kinda like the whole romeo and Juliet thing, with rival families yet they still loved each other. But maybe that is to deep. Either way I wanted to mention it because it always bugged me how much they look alike Obito is pretty much Naruto with black hair black eyes and no whiskers.
