You misunderstood me. Madara himself has a nice villainous ideology. But we already heard all about it from Obito. So when Madara came back and started talking about the same exact things Obito already talked about, I had no interest in it.

Yes, Madara was deceiving Obito, never denied that... That doesn't change the fact that Obito did everything and that Madara's character is nearly completely unnecessary.

Its actually the opposite. Obito was unneccesary to the evil plot because in the end Madara himself activated IT.

I agree with @Hidden Sound. The fact is Obito has shown characteristics similar to that of Madara, be it acting out of character, or his own personality. People say the only thing that ruin his character was his obsession on Rin's death. Recent Manga Chapters show his past which allowed us to recognize the source of his obsession. This was later revealed upon his death: Rin made a promise.

People can connect that to the Main Protagonist Naruto, whom was promised by Sakura. Even his dreams and goals. The what makes him best villain other than recent Antagonist.

Madara obsession was Hashriama.

obito and madara werent that different. same goal. madara himself said that obito became exactly like how he used to be. that they could turn hell into heaven. same goal.

but i like the anti jaraiya thing madara has. making obito walking ahead of him and sacrificing obito to revive himself instead of protecting him and giving him a wish. they both used people. nothing new there.

when madara showed up it was like a completely new character from the tobi we knew.

Obito was too underwhelming to be final villain. He gave no sense of danger to me, even as a Juubi jin. It was way too obvious that he was going to be defeated in a pathetic way, and he did. He lost to the power of friendship, the most pathetic way for a villain to go out.

Um... No... Obito gathered the Bijuu, Obito reformed the Juubi, Obito did all the work beforehand, Obito was the second Juubi Jinchuriki, Obito gained the ability to launch Infinite Tsukuyomi. Madara is just sloppy seconds.

Eh, Tobi WAS being Madara. So basically who you saw with the mask on was Madara at that moment. Its like someone being the substitute teacher while the real one is gone. Why would a fake act like the real deal when the real deal is right beside him and knows that he knows who he is and his real attitude?

Madara was introduced way before Tobi actually started his plans. Even the statue of Madara at the Valley of the End showed his "face".

Funny thing is Tobi was better Madara than Madara himself. Tobi was far more dark,focused and mysterious than Madara. Real Madara was just a plain one dimensional Cocky Bad guy.

Actually there is no comparison between Obito/Tobi's conrtibution to the mainplot as compared to Madara,Kaguya or Orochimaru.
Just list their contribution in the events of the story and you'll see that Tobi/Obito knocks them out of water.
