I'd prefer it if Sasuke did the damage, and Obito finishes it. I don't think a main character has to put the final nail in Madara's coffin, as he himself is a "relic from the past". Sasuke'd correct the mistake, and Obito could redeem himself in that way. I think it's pretty nice.

I'll give you an example:

Danzo is fataly wounded and gets absorbed by obito into the dimension. Danzo would use izanagi and he will appear in the dimension but fully healed. He cannot go back to the real world as he cannot bypass the dimension.

kamui is the key to getting in or out. Nothing else will get you in or out.

But you cannot bypass the Dimension. Once your inside, there is no way to leave. You exist in that dimension and not the real world. Meaning any izanagi you use, youl still be inside the dimension. Only way out is kamui, thats why it's a formidable jutsu.

Data book also states kamui has no defense and that's why obito is confident anyone who gets warped is done for. He himself has izanagi and would know if it can counter it or not.
