I posted this in another thread but I think it deserves its own thread on its own.

Am I the only one that listened to what Madara said to Obito? Madara told Obito that the sharigan can only awaken its true potential when you have 2 sharigans. He was clearly talking about the MS. So when Obito goes out to help Rin and Kakashi something symbolic happened. Obito was able to see through the sharigan he gave Kakashi. This means that Obito was still linked to his sharigan. Basically what I am saying is that Kakashi didn't awaken the MS. Obito awoken both his and Kakashi's because he was still linked to it. Going by what Madara said, its impossible for Kakashi to awaken the MS on his own because he only had one sharigan.

This is proof Obito was still linked to his sharigan. I guess it was because he was in close range of Kakashi.

This would explain why Itachi pretty much said it was impossible for Kakashi to gain the MS. He actually mentions this twice. He basically tells Kakashi that the MS is a bloodline ability and can only be awoken by a member of the Uchiha clan. This was before he used his MS on Kakashi. The next time is when Kakashi asked Itachi about his vision. Kakashi basically says his MS was "NEW" when he fought Deidara. This means he just recently found out he had the MS.

So it appears that Obito indeed awoken the MS for both him and Kakashi. Kakashi probably only found out about it after the time skip some time before fighting Deidara.

I don't feel like destroying this concept once again, so let me copy my post from Uchihajin's topic:

But... *sigh*
Looks like I might have to take this thread seriously.

Ok then, listen closely. You say that Obito was the true owner of the Sharingan and therefore his vision could not be see by a "borrower", that is Kakashi.
In other words, you try to say that vision from Kakashi went to Obito but vision of Obito didn't go to Kakashi. Remember this well, since this is the crucial part.

You say that this "shared vision" is a proof of Kakashi's MS being awakaned by Obito.

If Obito awakened his own MS, there is NO REASON that it should go to Kakashi as well, since this connection is ONE SIDED ONLY - from Kakashi to Obito, NOT the other way around, as seen with the vision.
In other words, if anything, it's KAKASHI that awakened MS which then went to Obito, just like the vision.

End of story.
Congratulations, you just made me prove you that it's totally the opposite of what you were thinking. Are you happy now?

Yh I agree, but I think when kakashi agreed with naruto that it was new it was because 1) he probably couldn't use it sufficiently enough until years and years of training and 2) the nature of which he unlocked it. He couldn't just reply no this sharingan is old I got it when I killed my comrade a long time ago. It would also spoil the plot.
