itachi "knew' that? what civil war? if a coup happened itd either be quashed no problem or succeed no problem. uchihas were too small to set up battle lines and have a drawn out conflict. and thered only be world war if all other kages joined in. raikage didnt want another one so soon after the hyuuga incident ended the last one. onoki cared about his people and wouldnt march into a war he has no reason to, and 4th kazekage seemed pretty sensible when looking at the big picture and was konoha's ally. a pointless war with them would destroy him since without his allies the other villages would attack the sand. so, no. other kages wouldnt "jump at the chance". they arent warmongering thugs.
there was a leaf crisis before this coup. its called KYUUBI ATTACK. and no one did anything about that despite the leaf losing its hokage and hokages wife. A highly respected minato and wouldnt kick the leaf when its down.
and there was an all out battle in the middle of the leaf in part 1 between orochimaru + 100 sand jounins vs konha, and no one cared what happened. they were just like "oh leaf got half its men killed huh? oh well.".
"itachi sama" was perfectly willing to start up a real world war by helping akatsuki murder 7 innocent people including a kazekage
cowardice would be continuing to live in a reality of war and suffering when it will only end in humanity's self destruction
we cant be trusted with our own free will. what did we do with this "real world"? oh yeah destroy half of it as one half of us killed the other half. war, suffering, despair. this is not how god wanted us to live
the alternative is the world succumbs to endless war and suffering and despair. im sorry if the alternative is we destroy ourselves, im fine with infinite tsukiyomi.

People in the Middle East are not the only ones in the world suffering, people suffer every day and all over the world.
The very fact you said such a thing shows how ignorant and naïve you are.
Everyone has lost someone they love and everyone feels the same pain. The very fact that you think only a small group of people understand suffering once again shows that you judge people without knowing them.
The whole thing with Neji's death established that Infinite Tsukuyomi does not bring the dead back to life it just creates illusions of them. That has been also established by Road to Ninja (which was written by the author), and accepting illusions in place of the real thing is an insult to the real people that died, its no different then peeing on their grave.
Obito is no hero, he is a monster who kills people cause its fun and you are trying to make excuses for him.
Tell me was corrupting Sasuke heroic, what about sending the 9 tails to attack the Hidden Leaf Village was that heroic. Neither made the world a better place, or what about slaughtering the Jinchuriki, what about all the other people Obito has manipulated and killed in order to fulfill his selfish goal. Your whole Izanagi theory is just an attempt to justify Obito's crimes.
Tell me if Obito is such a hero and his Eye of the Moon Plan is so great why is everyone fighting against it.
Its simple nobody wants to be under the Infinite Tsukuyomi and Obito is trying to force it on everyone.

Really good read, if that is his real plan then it would make his character better again imo, we've seen how Obito was when he was a kid and people don't really change much.
I was going to say then why did he kill people without even hesitation and they way he killed Fuu and Torune but then I read that he would bring them back so it makes sense.

The difference is that Tobi would just become Obito before getting crushed. He effectively wants to reverse time, go back to being the innocent boy who helped elderly people, who didn't know betrayal or pain. But going back in time isn't enough, he needs to ensure that there will be no pain, so hence turning a dream world into ACTUAL reality. He's effectively trying to replace one reality with another.

Dude, relax. You're changing my words around. I never said they are the only ones to suffer, but I used them as an EXTREME example. Of people who GENERALLY suffer more than us. There are levels in things.
Road to Ninja is an alternate dimension and does not appear on the official manga. Also Izanagi created Danzo numerous times and no one called those Danzo fake or copies. Creation of All Things is an even better version of Izanagi. It is reality regardless of your personal opinion.
Sasuke was not corrupted. He was already a jerk before meeting Obito. He had already abandomed his friends who got injured trying to "save" him and remember those who abandon their friends are worse than trash. Besides, Obito told Sasuke the true story on Itachi and let him choose.
Attacking the village with Kurama was heroic. Obito was trying to lead distrust to the Uchiha, which in turn led to the annihilation of the clan and this in turn averted a potential coup and war. The Uchiha were a ticking time bomb.
The "murders" Obito is creating are necessary to achieve the goal which will prevent MANY more deaths in the long run. Also, Obito is planning to turn those deaths into an illusion by changing reality with Creation of All Things. Consider it an Izanagi used on everyone so no one ended up dying to begin with.
The reason that no one wants to join in on it is because they don't know about his true goals. They, like you think he's ending the plan with the Moon's Eye, but don't understand the Creation of All Things aspect to it. We got clues to it and people miss out on it as readers. Now the people in the Naruto world have even less clues than we do so they don't understand.
You also have to understand that this world is full of power hungry people who don't want change. People who are okay with how things are. None of the five countries and their leaders would be okay with that since they'd lose power in a world where there are only winners.
Fact is, the entire basis of Obito since childhood has been selflessness and to end the way of the ninja. I would not be surprised if my theory is right and he is still the very same guy.

And yes, Aimo. Well-worded! You get it. But in order for Obito's well-intended plan to work out, he needs to do something about Madara who is obviously derranged and doing it for a power trip. This is why Obito was so perturbed when Kabuto brought Madara back. He wanted to take care of the plan by himself.
