Your opinion of Ameno is driven by the fact first of all, you know it's very versatile and has a limitation to its teleportation range, so you think others are better because theirs isn't limited.

Kamui for instance can at first glance seem like it's the best out of them all but when you ask yourself what its weakensss are, you get to see that it isn't all that great.

I really wanna make a thread for why Kamui isn't as great as people deem it but I'm afraid people will be driven by their fixed opinions when they're reading it and I don't wanna waste my time with something of which outcome I already know.

Here's just a few reasons why Kamui doesn't get the first place for me:

>to teleport the user has to solidify
>during that time he gets exposed to physical attacks as the teleportating is slow anyways: it's not eve worth mentioning
>while he's intangible and can't get harmed, he can't attack the opponent so basically during the time he assumes his ghost form, the opponent can quickly think up a way to outsmart when he gets back to normal
>the whole concept of being ghost is lame (I admit that this one's a subjective opinion, but everyone does), as it can easily be his weakness. Against dexterous opponents and ones that think think on their feet, he's easily weakened. Minato saw this and exploited it. Fact beibg Obito thought Minato couldn't touch him.
>there's a limit to the time he can be intangible, and if you have an attack that can go on for as long and a second longer, he's easily done for
>he can't make others intangible, meaning the technique is self and can't really be uswd for team work purposes.
>whike getting one-shot by the long range Kamui seems daunting, an opponent who knows about it can easily tell from the chakra amassing in his eye that he's charging for said technique which is the standard weakness for MS techniques
>if the opponent has S/T, the jutsu gets ****ed up. Someone like Kaguya or Sasuke who can cross dimensions render the whole eye power futile. The essence of it is sending people off into then pocket dimension and starving them to death while you keep sucking in more people to be their companions in death.
>so basically someone like Obito who "strongky relies" on it gets rekt by someone has a high-level S/T and enough speed to take him down while he's in the illusion that you can't touch. Literally meaning he doesn't have to know you have S/T.
>When he's going intangible, his parts appear in the other dimension, if you're as smart as Itachi or just generally smart and you have an S/T ability, you can allow a clone to get sucked in (and cut him up when he phases in the real world). This requiring intel of course.

There's more but I'll not delve much into it, but the weakness definitely eclipse its strength and eat away at its potential.

PS: apologies for the bad spelling and all, I'm not using my PC at the moment.

I agree to all the weaknesses you've mentioned, Minato even took advantage of one of them. Still in terms of versatility, Kamui is still one of the best but in the end the one with better reflexes and with the element of surprise would win.

Nah, man. Amenotejikara has limitations far bigger than FTG. Ameno needs a switching object to work at its full potential, FTG is just mark and go.

Sasuke switches his sword with the enemies heart = gg

probably the dumbest thing I ever read considering that minato himself specifically stated that his s/t is better than his and th second hokage. He and kakashi has the best s/t in the series, and let's see fly thunder god hack the kaguya's dimension like kamui did.
The only reason why a 14 year old tobi got tagged by minato was because minato's striking speed was faster. When he got older s/t didn't even work against him.

tobi of all forms is stronger than the both of them rinnegan or not considering the fact that he couldn't even use the damn thing.
