Obito is overrated.

I'm not saying he isn't good. He's definitely a powerful threat. I mean, it took a hell of a long time to work out how to defeat his kamui. But being good at not getting killed is a far cry from actually being the strongest Akatsuki member, let alone the top ten shinobi of all time.


Hopefully someone can prove me wrong with this statement. Maybe there is manga evidence which can do this.

I just feel that Itachi, even Sasori would have an excellent chance against Obito. Heck, it even took Obito a fair bit of time to kill Konan, and people consider her to be one of the weaker Akatsuki members.

I mean, because he is an Uchiha, he definitely would have a lot of potential, especially with the Sharingan. However, because he never used it, its questionable whether he can use other Uchiha abilities such as Susanoo. In theory, he should be able to due, but he just doesn't, so I don't know.

I mean, because he is an Uchiha, he definitely would have a lot of potential, especially with the Sharingan. However, because he never used it, its questionable whether he can use other Uchiha abilities such as Susanoo. In theory, he should be able to due, but he just doesn't, so I don't know.

The thing is, if you engage in CQC with him, he'll only need one touch to end the battle, unless you have a S/T ability.
And he's equally deadly from long range.
