We're using different translations, and the one I'm using is widely considered the better.

Regardless of the translation you're using though, it ultimately comes down to Rikudou saying "Your leadership and mentoring skills are godly, without your capabilities as a leader, Mother wouldn't have been defeated."

The "even so" you see there is Rikudou saying "You have immense power in that Susano'o...even so, the deciding factor for Kaguya's defeat were you leadership skills." Without Kakashi's leadership skills, Obito's powers would have been useless. A middle schooler could probably see this with simple literally analysis.

I like Obito too, but this is just reaching you guys are doing that reflects badly on his character.

Nope. Rikudou said "You did well, leading everyone in to defeat Mother. Those are truly godly feats."
Kakashi said "It's thanks to these guys and our many allies. And Obito lent me his power."

Rikudou then said "And that's why I said what I said. You led everyone well. You continued to lead Naruto and the others. If you hadn't, Mother probably wouldn't have been sealed."

This effectively means "Your contribution wasn't power. Team 7 were the powerhouses. But their power was effective because of your leadership. Without it, it wouldn't have worked, and mother wouldn't have been sealed."
