It gets annoying...you people who cant look past rin being the reason for everything. He could just cast genjutsu or something on himself if he really wanted to be with rin.

Rin is the symbol of what is wrong with the shinobi world in his eyes. Her death was simply the trigger that led to him giveing up on the world.

As such he always is flashing back to rin, because remembering her, and how she was reminds him why he needs to get rid of the world.(because he sees the system of the world causeing her death.)

Simply rin is the trigger, of what caused obito to become the antagonist. Yes obito isnt a good villain. But he is a EXCELLENT antagonist for naruto.

my problem with obito's character is that he lived through boulders crushing his body when in reality, he should be retarded or dead. then it's the matter of a 14 year old obito facing minato, he was wearing a zetsu during that battle, correct? So who talked for the majority of the battle? Zetsu or Obito? I'm sure Minato would recognize his voice and it's never been stated.

You know I had an issue with that too. If it was Obito talking then Minato should have been like, Obito? Also shouldn't he have recognized his fightin style? Fighting Styles are like fingerpints now matter how much he learned under Madara the basic taijutsu they used on each other in tangent with his voice should have been a dead giveaway to Minato as to who he was fighting....

...and I thought minato was suppose to be smart.

People who have been saying that he didnt start this war just coz of Rin, then your all clearly delusional. At every monent Rin was on his mind. RIN RIN RIN RIN RIN! I'm not hating. I just think Obito was a seriously lame villan. Yeahh what he did was cool and becoming Jubito was pretty epic, but if it wasnt for the fact that we were bombarded with images and memories of Rin he was have been a better villan. He needed more substance as a villain, than just a 13 year old dead girl on his mind. Yeahh hes given other excuese but at the end of the day it was always Rin. I can't take it anymore. Can it be any more clear why Obito did what he did?He is not deep at all, he is NOT a good villain and many many people know this by now.He was good until the mask came off and then it got progressively worse the more was revealed about him and his reasoning.
