[Discussion] Obito is a depresing character?

No that's not what I'm basically telling. I'm telling that if people want to discuss how bad of a villain Obito is, they can do it in one thread.

You people act act like this is something new. History is full of instances like this. Clyopatra and Mark Anthony is one such instance that comes to mind at the moment. Entire Nations have been destroyed over a single woman.

Obito's reason is no different. While Rin is a major reason it isn't the only reason. Obito was in love. Watching the one he loved killed by one he practically considered family twists a person inside. Get over it.

Hah hah ha! This^ People are still bitter that Tobi was revealed to be Obito. He could have remained the same emotionless enigmatic guy he was as the masked man and people would find something else to gripe about.

You guys just want this hardcore villain who's only purpose is to destroy the world. any one reason he has and it becomes a lame villain. Madara is lame. Unlike Obito he has no substance yet I see countless threads trying to justify why he does what he does. His reasons are far less convincing then Obito's yet he gets slack?

So Obito was in love and now the woman he loved was killed before his eyes and now he wants to destroy the world. How's that any different than Nagato? Nagato's parents died and he brought that up on many occasssions. But it's okay for him though right.

You guys are pissed off because Obito hasn't spent 50 chapters explainin the hell he witnessed growing up under Madara's heel. There's no more time for that and these arcs are long enough as it is.

NOw this I can agree with. This is what kills Obito for me. Not the Rin deal but the "Naruto is just like me" BS Just because he wanted to be Hokage at some point doesn't make them the same. Sasuke wants to be Hokage now, so does Kiba. Does that mean they are all like Naruto too?

Please. I think Kishi is just burnt out and can't think of anything worth while anymore and he just going through the motions. The dialog is what kills it. The Rin reason could be a very good one if it was written correctly and not shoved in our face every damn chapter!

Just kill the bugger already so we can move on to Madara. And GAWD I hope he doesn't turn out to be even more lame then he already is. :vincent:

First .....
he was same as naruto,, wanted to get acknowledge and wanted to become hokage.. at around age of 12
And he loves Girl Rin,, OK.. now what happened he sacrifised himself for friend almost died,,
But got saved by madara ,,, tregedy begins here.. obito was sure that he will not returnt to madara... but he saw rin's death by his own Friends Hands,,,, Mind trolled hard,,, obito realized one thing ,, What actully Itachi said once" there are so many things in this world that not goes as you wish.... " And he wanted to despertly change that thing... same as naruto ,, but chosen wrong path,, why?? coz madara brainwashed him,, he lost hope for shinobi world,, he wanted to create a world,, wher all can leave in peace.. and moved on,,, he succeed 80%,, and then meet naruto his past self... he realized what he become instead of becoming hokage..( What he want to become,,, he wanted to get acknoledge but he is alone as in last chapter,,, he reminds his promise to rin,, everything what he wanted,,) and then he started regreting his actions,, if he culdnt have turn evil,, he cuold have become hokage,,, who is Obito Uchiha,,, a perfect example of Human being who lost hope and chose wrong path,,,,,
