[Theory] Obito is a Dark Ashura

Well all know that Obito as a child was extremely similar to Naruto. In circumstances and in personality.

Naruto and Obito are basically two sides of the same coin. It is no coincidence that Naruto was the only person that was destined to TNJ Obito. Naruto was the only person who could understand Obito and reach out to him.


Now why is that?



I suspect that when Madara fully combined Ashura and Indra's chakra( i.e awaken Rinnegan), he screwed up the entire transmigration cycle.

Ashura's chakra being used for evil caused Ashura to be reincranated into Obito, the one destined to bring the world to chaos.


But Ashura is inherently good and gentle. So when Obito became Tobi, he wasn't kidding about not being Obito anymore. By forgoing his entire intentity and values and by turning over to the dark side, Ashura spirt departed from Obito's body.

That's why the timing is so correct. Just one year after Obito turned evil, Naruto was born. This means that around the time Obito turned evil, Kushina became pregnant with Naruto! This was no coincidence.


Also, Obito has Kamui, basically the most OP MS tech ever. Only a transmigrant of someone greatly important can do this.

Also the fact that Obito seems to have the same features as Naruto in the sense of manipulation of Gudou Damas with versatility, something that Madara did not.

Just saying... in Japan "soul" and "heart" have the same meaning. If both Obito and Naruto shared the same mentality in the same age, it makes a lot of sense to say that Obito had part of Ashura inside him, or so I'd like to say.

Sadly, Hagoromo stated that the previous transmigrants were Madara and Hashirama, so I don't know.

You can't deny that Obito has SOME relation to Ashura. Principally, because Madara got the half-moon staff and Obito got the full-moon one. If he wasn't related to Ashura in some regard, he would just have obtained a plain stick staff, or no staff at all.
