it would give him away as not madara if he used it on minato. he hasnt really been going on the offensive much till right before madara showed up. i can see him using it vs kakashi and gai

What I wonder is why Kakashi never used the Mangekyo Sharingan since that event. Did he even know he had it (he fainted right away)? Perhaps his "training" in which he 'unlocked' it was merely him activating the stage of Sharingan he had all along. :shrug:

Yeah, he awakened it without knowing so I guess he had to learn how to conciously activate it.
