Obito has no motives, or does he?

all these anti obito theories are based on two things, that everything tobi has said is true and that obito has no motives.

Tobi 'said' he planted the rinnegan in nagato, did he actually? who knows? He claimed to be Madara guess what, that was a lie. Tobi took on the 4th hokage, people are saying he's too young to fight him, at that time obito would be around 16 and frankly he did get his ass handed to him. Did sasuke not take on the 5 kages at 17? 0.o

Obito's last words were pretty much 'Take care of Rin' Kakashi later confirmed to Rin that Obito loved her. When kakashi was killed by Pain he lamented that he failed to protect her i.e shes dead and Obito's last words weren't fulfilled. which would explain why tobi said 'You're just words and no actions, what someone like you says is worth nothing!' Not only does this imply that Tobi knows Kakashi personally but also that Tobi has a grudge on Kakashi for failing to fulfill a promise, i.e protect the one Obito loves. Betrayed by his best friend and comrade he blames the war for Rins death and so makes up the moons eye plan to prevent further wars from occuring. Anyone saying Obito was crushed by the rock, his eye would have been damaged etc Obito said himself 'My right side is ALMOST smashed' if he had been completely crushed he would have died immediately,The rock that initially trapped him then protected him from the collapse of the cavern. (Read Chapter 244) There are many ways that obito could have escaped the rock, for example the space time dimension skill he uses or the whole zetsu theory (in battle against 4th his arm was all gloopy xD as if made of zetsu material, which could also explain the height issues.)

if its any uchiha other than obito i'd be dissapointed frankly because any of those other theories such as shisui, kagami, izuna etc. We hardly know anything about them and for a villain as mysterious as tobi to be someone we know nothing about is just going to be a little bit s***.

and now the most anticipated anime villain in all time has to explain who he is as nobody before him recognises him...

there is still alot we don't know about MS for example kakashki's, how did he get his? I doubt it was through killing anyone close to him, so i'm guessing MS is obtained through high emotion levels rather than killing anyone you care about, for example Sasuke killed his brother (who he hated, with every fibre of his being) so from that perspective the two weren't close. Then tobi revealed all and we saw sasuke in tears then boom! MS, so perhaps 'Obito' activated his when he learnt of Rin's death and kakashi got his from news of the 4ths, i don't know. ^_^ but Sasuke got his at a pretty young age aswell, whose to say that obito couldn't at a slightly younger age?

This makes a lot of sense, I also think tobi is obito and the rin thing is something I believe also. But what is getting me is that is not really a reason to preform infinite tsukuyomi on the world. Just because a man promised to protect your true love and failed, it is a reason yes but If tobi is obito I think there has to be more reason then just rin and I am expecting kishi to explain them if tobi is obito.

That would also explain the relationship between tobi and madara(Kishi said they know eachother).

I do not belive that he already tried to make everyone believe he is madara, or he would just say it directly~ There we saw Tobi also had Zetsu body parts...this mean Zetsu for sure already was part of tobi.

Very good theory. Even if I personally don`t think that Tobi is Obito, your theory makes alot of sense and was a very good read. Thanks and rep+.

I just can`t believe that Obito fought the fourth hokage. I like people`s theory that the first masked man was Madara, later, when he became Tobi, it was some sort of student of his, so somebody else. Strange is also that what we saw of his face did neither look squished/damaged nor like the face of someone in his thirties (same age as Kakashi). So you see, things speak for and against Obito being Tobi.

The fox and Minato both believed it was Madara.

Only thing I would find crazy is how Obito would be so outstandingly strong when he more looked like a little looser. Hehe.
