This = Truth. I could not have put it better myself.

It's also very obvious that there needs to be a Naruto vs Sasuke match still because Sasuke is still hinting that he is not ready to cooperate despite the fact that he is fighting for the alliance. Even Jugo questioned his true plan/reason for joining the alliance when they first got there.

Thank you shaf! =D Agreed, Sasuke has plans for the world, and they don't mesh well with how Naruto thinks the world should be led. Their resolution lies with changing the outcome of the Younger vs Elder Son conflict, so we won't be denied their fight

I agree. very insightful thread.

Also, you can include that Sasuke was born first. It might appear random, but now I becomes clearer the parallel it represent in the story.

And also a good point. I didn't think to include it because it seems inconclusive on its own, but with support evidence it is a good indicator. Seems the older ones are always vulnerable to the curse of hatred. Sasuke, even Older Obito trying to deny his own Younger self's ideals, and I'm sure we'll find out Madara is older than Hashirama as well.

A good observation! Thank you for the post

I am not sure how to respond to this. The whole basis of this theory is that there is a new representation of the Elder and Younger Son, as well as a Sage.

If you are arguing that Hashirama and Madara are the Sons and not Naruto and Sasuke:

The fight between the Younger and Elder Son is an ongoing thing in Naruto history. The fight passed onto the Senju and Uchiha which then passed down to Hashirama and Madara. Hashirama and Madara came the closest to resolving the curse of hatred with the creation of Konoha, however in the end, they failed to resolve it together and then that duality passed down to Konoha itself. The Will of Fire remained the face of Konoha, while because of their inability for peace, The Curse of Hatred essentially became the politics of Konoha and led to the Uchiha Massacre and such.

The whole storyline is essentially because The Elder and Younger Son failed to work together and then Hashirama and Madara inherited the fight and failed to work together, and it is now Naruto and Sasuke's inheritance. It's no longer Hashirama and Madara's fight to decide the future. Naruto and Sasuke inherited their fight, which has been the central theme of Naruto since The Valley of the End.

If you are arguing my Theory suggests there are no representations of the Elder and Younger Sons:

I sincerely suggest you read the thread, because it specifically states the representations of the Younger and Elder Son and their roles even. The theory doesn't have a purpose or conclusion if there is no new representation of the Younger and Elder Son.

Nice read! I like how you have everything coming full circle but somewhat in a reversed way. So you think Naruto will ascend past the sage to kill Sasuke and end the hatred? I'd like to hear more detail on this final fight.

long peace of text but your definitely on to something

i think the key becoming and fullfilling roles of sage's sons is:

both to acknowledge they are long lost brothers and became good. bring something good. equal power together as a one are sage himself

Thank you! I believe Naruto will resolve the conflict of the Younger and Elder Son which will end the hatred and causing Naruto to bring true peace and ascend Rikudou. But him and Sasuke either succeed or fail together. If one of them dies without resolving their conflict, then the bitterness lives on. Same if they both live but the hatred is still present. Then Sasuke becomes Madara and once again Rikudou's Sons have failed.

Their success or failure will affect the United Ninja World's development, as Hashirama and Madara's failure directly affected Konoha's development.

I personally think that they both will die in their fight and the hatred will end with both of them, despite it being a Shonen. Maybe I'll do a more in depth prediction thread in the near future on it! =D

Spot on. Madara said the Uchiha tablet claims of a God who split his power into Yin and Yang, and hints that if they were to work together, then peace can be obtained, and specifically states that "this logic can be applied to everything." One could argue that this referred to Rikudou and his Sons.

The ending will no doubt be about Naruto and Sasuke's success as Rikudou's Sons, but how they will do it is the interesting part.

Good post! Thank you! =D

Ever since Naruto's statement to Sasuke after his Danzo fight, I've always thought they will both die, just seems fitting for 2 characters that have been rivals throughout the whole manga and on so many different levels. I said this in another thread but Naruto has been dealing with hatred in people throughout the series, so I believe it would be fitting for him to die with his best friend to end the remaining hatred in Sasuke(and possibly the world), allowing him to finally bring peace like the sage originally intended to do.

I'll be looking forward to it!

Haha it's what I do =D

As for Naruto vs Sasuke, I hope Kishi manages to make a boss ending where Naruto ends Sasuke's hatred without making it cliche. But we know that Naruto is already resolved to kill Sasuke with himself in their next fight, so that's the obvious possible ending for me at least. I am interested to see what Kishi has in store for us to resolve their bond/rivalry.

I liked a lot of this, but very much disliked that you reposted the same pages several times.

One thing to point out is that much of this is the story of Obito as told by Obito. What will become of the bijuus and ninja system are unclear, but I take Obito's word with a grain of salt. His character is a troll. Naruto/ Sasuke better have a better answer than Hashirama/ Madara.
