I love Obito's character, I hate Kishi's inconsistency. I loved Obito's reasons/motives, as it grounded his character in a way that most people can relate too (a broken heart). I loved his character progression as he slowly saw the error in his ways, but denied his own conscious by trying to bring Naruto down. I loved his attempt at redemption when he had the Juubi ripped out of him by betraying Madara, and how Madara double crossed him anyway.
What I hate is why his character is still alive. Lets review the facts:
1. Having a Bijuu ripped from it's Jinchuriki results in the Jinchuriki's death. That is an absolute rule. [having the Juubi ripped from someone should only enhance that rule]
2. Performing the Rinne-Tensei results in death. That is an absolute rule.
Obito did both of those and now is back on his feet like nothing even happened. AND to add insult to injury, by technical definition Obito was a Jinchuriki TWICE [Juubi/Kurama] and removed the Bijuu TWICE and is STILL alive! Not only that, but he also for some reason has some of the Juubi's Jinchuriki powers back. I really wish Kishi had killed his character, because the only reason why I can possibly see why his character is still alive is so that he and Kakashi can have some sentimental tag-team moments, which I honestly don't care about. We have enough of that with Naruto and Sasuke.
