i would like to point out that Kakashi was able to effectively use a sharingan that he had never had seconds after receiving it without being uchiha. So, if we assumed that somehow Obita survived the crush with whatever means necessary. I think its safe to say that over the course of a year and a half, under the right motivation/training he could maintain a link with Kyubi. I dont remember him fully controlling him, only spurring him into doing what he wanted to do anyway, destroy konoha. Now, that does not meant that specifically that Obito is Tobi, other than the fact that Kishi pretty much declared it that at the end of the last manga. I also pointed out in another post that Minato never declared tobi to be madara. He merely asked if he was, then he seemed to recognize Tobi, after removing the hood, as someone else; though he declared it impossible due to the person being dead. This meant he could have recognized Tobi as Obito. The real point is that anything is possible.

There have been a couple of instances where Tobi said he was Madara. So do we dismiss that all of a sudden just because kakashi asked if he was Obito? No!

just because tobi/Obito mistimed Minato speed doesn't mean it wasn't Obito. Flying god tech. is nearly Flawless

No, it's that Obito was the runt of the Uchiha clan, the black sheep. Do you know what that means?

He was a terrible ninja.

And within 1 year, after having 1 side of his body crushed to bits. He, keep to your seat:

• Advanced to a 3 tomoe Sharingan, and later to a Mangekyou Sharingan fully mastering Kamui by himself.
• Went from Chuunin to Kage level (equal footing with his sensei)
• Drastically accelerated ahead of Kakashi, who still was only jounin level. WTF? And this is when Kakashi graduated at 5, became Chuunin at 6. Obito only graduating at 9, and reaching Chuunin at 11.
• And he did all this, despite being heavily injured.
• I haven't even mentioned how his knowledge drastically increased - knowledge of Bijuu seal, secret pathways, ANBU protocol and their locations.

How could he have accomplished such a feat?!

In 1 year?!
It took Kakashi 7 years to reach jounin after becoming Chuunin.

There's so much more I could write it. Even now, I phrased it poorly.

He was probably was playing it off...it's not the first time he played something off

I'd say it's pretty much granted that Obito has studied the way of summoning Kurama, however he hasn't done much more than unleash him. Then the control has been wrestled away from him very easily - pretty much amateur stuff. Also it's hard to tell if the passage of time is the same in Kamui dimension and in the normal dimension.

The Tobi that released the 9 tails has short hair. In the two tobi's theory the long haired one is someone else and the short haired one is Obito. Obito released the 9 tails. But I do believe that there is a reason behind his increase in powers. But don't forget Tobi is very arrogant.

I never said Kakashi asked if he was. Because he hadnt. Minato asked when they fought. And it could be that since Minato asked, Tobi took it as a valid pseudonym to use rather than being known for who he truly was. Plenty of ninjas have masqueraded as someone they werent in the series. It happens all the time. Again, I never said that Tobi was Obito, aside from the fact that it literally declares it on the last page of the last running.

1) guyz think of it hashirama were by far older than sarutobi and u can say that madara were about the same age or even the same age at least 30 years
2) when the kyuubi attacked konoha sarutobi was already old and it was said that madara died shortly after the fight
so please how did madara surive

... and why didnt Kakashi and Minato notice that Tobi´s and Obito´s chakra is the same? They should have noticed ... at least Kakashi should have noticed, he has the sharingan that can see chakra ... I refuse to think a person can change their chakra ...

Whatever saved his life probably altered his Chakra in some way. I think that the question of how he knows Madara is a question we will have to wait on.
