Considering he himself had this ability, yet he offers a juxtaposition for Obito's only? That's a hollow argument from you, and you know it. I fail to see anything along the lines of 'short ranged long ranged' logic you people keep using. Where is it EVER mentioned or even implied? Obito was about to warp Sasuke from way over at the top of the bridge when Sasuke was quite far off. Too far off to call it short-ranged.
So Obito's statement proves what? Did it disprove me in anyway? I think not.
