Haku, man, this reminds me a lot of my very first Youtube video, actually. I know that WLMM pain. So, I can relate.

Here is some advice:

Use effects, zooms, and timing to make picture amvs effective. Most people don't pay any attention to picture amvs, but they do and can when used properly. There is multiple effects and zoom ins that can make picture amvs really good and entertaining, and not slow-ish, as some appear to be. Make every image move. It creates an actual video vibe.

Time the pictures with the song. I didn't get the vibe at all here and music is the most important thing. Either you match the song and the pictures/clips perfectly or you create a story with the song supporting it, but the music doesn't drive the video, the story does.

You focused on an image too long at times where you should've switched to another one as it didn't fit at all. Timing is everything.

Widescreen is VERY important, especially for pictures. Some shows aren't meant for widescreen and are best at a 4:3 ratio, but pictures are the exception as they are normally perfect for the widescreen ratio of 16:9. A great free program I use to make my pictures widescreen or any kind of ratio I want is Faststone Image Viewer. I also use Paint and Gimp to edit the images, both free as well.

I edit with video clips now, but I still use pictures as I LOVE editing with them. Fanart is the absolute best as there is tons more fanart of, for example, Obito being sad/angry/vs someone/with Rin/with Kakashi,etc... than there is of fan made gifs/video or from the actual anime/manga. So, picture editing is really fun and I sort of prefer it sometimes. I still use WLMM and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on here or on my Youtube account, TheHellishSmile

I hope I didn't come off as negative. I really think you'll do great and feel proud of your work. Every video I've made, no matter what anyone may think of them, I'm very proud of them. Also, have fun. That's what it's all about.

Download the videos. For anime, there are download sites everywhere. A lot of people use torrents. Download the videos (Which will be either in an AVI or MP4 type format. Some will be in MKV and will need to be converted. An easy google search on "Download ______ episodes" will lead the way.
