⌘ UNIVERSAL RULES

• You can only use the bio you posted in your application or an update that dates from before the start of the tournament.

• By default, the basic battle rules will be applied.

• Each round will last at max of 5 days with a 12 hour reply limit. Opponents start 5 meters apart in the Rose Corridor, pictured above.

• During the first round, members can only use S rank and lower non Chakra taxing Canon Taijutsu and Kenjutsu fields. These are Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Samurai Techniques, and NB Taijutsu. The armor given to the competitors restrict access to abilities not listed each round, allowing more to be utilized as rounds progress. Only weapons given may be used as well.

• All competitors are restricted to Jounin Ranked Speed. Health is reduced to Chunin levels and Chakra taxing techniques have been removed from use. Specialties, Passive Boosts ( Health, Chakra, Speed, Damage, etc ) are all disabled and competitors are left at the same levels completely. Previously used techniques, Summonings, Creations and similar and passives are disabled as well. These reductions decrease every round, noted before the round commences.

• All threads are to be posted in the Ninja World Events Section.

Enma stood opposite the strange man. Like he had seen strange people (his mind remembering the Jonathan Muscle Man he had traveled with) and this guy put him slightly on edge. His presence made Enma feel quite uncomfortable and he didn't want that so he would need to try and overcome this. He had already been having second thoughts about entering this tournament, but he was scared of what was going to happen if he didn't get this fever cured. Steeling his resolve for this fight he readied his stance, sword in sheath; clutched in his left hand; and called to his opponent.

"Not that it probably will interest you but I am Kozato Enma, lets have a good fight." Not wanting to waste anymore time with formalities, Enma raced forward towards his opponent. Sword still in sheath Enma thought it best to test the waters as it were with some Taijutsu and see how his opponent responds. Entering within mere meters of the tall, pale man; Enma would pull back his right hand and thrust his palm straight into his opponent, aiming for the lower left side of the chest.

The lord of Shadows stood tall and proud in his side of the arena, inspecting his tournament sword with minor detail, he flicked his thumb on it, creating a metallic sound that bounced off the surfaces of the room and set a tone for this endeavor. Unsheathing his blade, he formed his unorthodox stance with it, crossing the blade with his right hand in a horizontal position while with his left hand above it and in a central position, positioning the sheathe pointing downwards. This made it look like a reverse crucifix. Alucards natural symbol. As his opponent introduced himself, Alucards eyes glowed in behind the swords.

As both of them had introduced their opening dialogue, it was time for battle. With his opponent running towards him with his hand on the sheathe, it was quite possible to have it drawn at any point and time during this rush towards Alucard. He bended his knees downwards, covering as much ground as possible to retain outmost balance as the strike was imminent, Alucard would parry his opponents strike by using his left hand to deliver an upper cut aimed towards the opponents striking hand. It would hit it at the wrist, sending the striking hand upwards with equal force. Using the momentum, Alucard would then effortlessly swing the sword with his right hand, aiming it towards his opponents neck which at this point was well within reach.

As Enma went to strike his opponent, he could see his foe was ready with a counter to his straight forward attack. The left hand of his opponent dipping down and beginning to come up in an uppercutting motion to his wrist, Enma would pay close attention to the positioning of his opponents arm and locating a pressure point, pull his initial right handed strike back while thrusting his left arm forward to strike a point in the man's arm; the handle of the sword pointing downward and the sheath up against his left arm. If it would connect, he could have possibly disabled one of his opponents arms for a small period of time, however it wasn't the time to think about uncertain possibilities, he needed to continue with the offensive.

Stepping in more close, his left elbow bending as he does, making the sheath position itself in line with his opponents head, He aggressively draws the sword, in doing so making the blunt end of the sheath slam into the mans face, and with his blade now free, he would aim and bring his blade into a slashing motion towards his opponents left ankle.

With the blade having successfully slashed the ankle of his foe, Enma twists his wrist to change the positioning of the blade and continues to slash upward, along the body of his opponent from his inner thigh and up to his neck, following that slash with two more slashes across the chest and abdomen before spinning in place and finalizing victory with a horizontal slash to the neck.
