I think you might have just fossilized your hands and legs lol

A sudden and thunderous boom echoed through the air, and the sound of spiraling earth ceased. Blackbeard paused for a moment, foregoing the Swamp to assess the situation. Through the thinning mist, the silhouette of Jonathan’s body was becoming more and more visible. Blackbeard grinned, figuring that the boom must have been his method for survival.

Rather than the swamp, Blackbeard instead instilled an illusion on Jonathan that caused him to experience several snakes emerging from below. The serpents bound his body, paralyzing him in reality. Within the illusion, the serpents would coil tightly, constricting Jonathan to inflict mental damage.

(Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

Blackbeard then followed up by erecting several spikes to impale Jonathan from below.

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.

Lmao you probably don't remember but that same quote happened in one of our previous fights, it's ruled that move only solidifies the ground it doesn't petrify people, but my legs would've been stuck.

Jonathan landed with the antlion being stopped, suddenly from the ground several snakes seemed to simply appear from thin air before leaping on to him, summoning wasn't out of the realm of possibility but there was no noise and seemingly no smoke from the summoning technique, Jonathan being a master of genjutsu despite it being one of his rarely used fields had seen illusions that involved summoning animals. The most telling part that this was possibly an illusion was the fact that the snakes had appeared from no summoning but also done so on the remains of the antlion, meaning that if they were there moments ago they would've probably been crushed in the chaos of the antlions suction and the huge impact of the stone slab.

With this in mind Jonathan would act in a way that he would be protected if his assumption was correct or not, releasing an unfocused burst of electricity from all over his body, the Joestar would surge free of the illusion, but also if the snakes were real they would've been fried and paralysed by the lightning, a good method to protect himself either way.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Snapping back to reality as the illusion broke, Jonathan felt the ground begin to shift beneath his feet, acting quickly suspecting this was an earth technique most likely the man released a blast of lightning in to the ground, nullifying anything that was forming and cracking the floor, by now the mist was mostly cleared and he could clearly see his foe.

(Raiton: Rakurai Senkou) - Lightning Release: Thunderbolt Flash
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user releases a current of purplish lightning from their hands forward, damaging and knocking away enemies. The range of this technique is, however, limited.

"Nice use of the classics, let me return the favour" Jonathan said with a chuckle, as he punched towards the adversary releasing a large vortex of wind from his fist aimed to batter the opponent backwards, the force knocked Jonathan back ever so slightly but not enough to move around or anything.

(Fūton: Senpūken) - Wind Style: Hurricane Fist
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user delievers a punch that releases a giant, adaptable whirlwind.

oh yeah you might be right, I forgot about that

Through the mist, a bright glow emanated from Jonathan’s body(the Nagashi). A familiar crackling filled Blackbeard’s ear, indicative of the lightning surge Jonathan released. Before the electricity faded, Blackbeard focused his chakra around Jonathan to manifest an orb of water. The lightning would be conducted by the water, electrocuting and paralyzing Jonathan.

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.

Note: This creates its own water source.

Blackbeard would then follow up with a blast of wind aimed at Jonathan.

(Futon: Atsugai) - Wind Style: Pressure Damage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user does the Ram handseal and inhales, kneading his chakra into his lungs, exhaling a huge blast of wind that levels anything in its path. Can cause major damage and requires a sufficient chakra level to perform. This large wind blast moves in tremendous speed and cannot be controlled. If the user gets caught in it, it will harm him also.

Pretty average and boring fight for most of the fight, a lot of back and forth expected from these kind of matches. There were no real problems on either side from what I could see. Therefore I'm largely gonna judge on the quality of the moves presented by both losers. Rexii displays more variations in his moves: trying to close the distance, use of stealth, as well as mixing in ranged content. Riker on the other hand displayed equally strong moves while mainly played a ranged game. Both fighters are competent but Rexii overall provided more variety to his moves. and thus im awarding him the victory
