I'm new to the game I've had it just over a week. I know the basics but I don't know or really understand Jump Blocking or Jump Cancelling. I struggle against Giant Awakenings (Mainly Susano'o) and it seems like I get caught in their combos and when I sub they just catch me when the next swing. I know there are some experienced players here so I thought I'd ask for your help and hopefully it'll help other people new to the Franchise. My GT: iTz BlaKe B

Edit: I also main Itachi/Sasuke/Kakashi

Im kind of experienced, not the best xD winning tips i can give:

1. When your opponet is sprinting toward you then you jump, + triangle + x (getting enemy from air) that way you will catch him/her nearly all the time.

2. Jump around while holding in r2 (shield) helps getting closer to your opponet without risking it

3: if you wish to beat big guys like sasuke susanoo you just have to get close and hit with taijutsu as much as you can

4: don't panic

5: use supports wizely, lets say someone sent you flying and your far from your opponet, then you dont just use a close combat support when enemy isnt near xD

6: dont use substitutions when opponet throws shurikens, a lot of people do that.

7: use subs when you know you got the chance to get away from opponet/get opponet back

8. a way to waste your opponets chakra is when you catch your opponet and start comboing, then you have to guess when he will sub and then click triangle + x to catch opponet again, have some close combat supports.

9. Have a balanced team, no matter what you do always have a guard

Well i cant think of any other tips to give xD

You can also watch, use and learn from those character's combos in free battle or practice so you know when's the right time to sub and what are it's weaknesses. I think for most, if not all giant awakenings it's very hard to sub a team ultimate jutsu.

One specific tip
When you substitute out of a combo from a Giant Awakening, make sure to lean the joystick in the direction you want to sub, to make sure don't get hit by the next one. ( this also applies when you're stuck in Kiba's combo's )

You need better mains. After storm 2, Kakashi kind of slowed down. If he had a mode toggle, he'd be pretty high tier due to his side-ninjutsu that his mode provides.

next, Itachi is not good anymore. You can troll like I do with Tsukuyomi Itachi and spam Clone Explosion, but all that's good about Itachi is his godly tilt. Amaterasu is nothing compared to Flame Control, nor most Y-B's from high tier characters.

So, you've got sasuke. Good. There are some really good sasukes out there. Take control of his speed, and get them in fierce combos and locks they really don't wanna be in, keep them on the edge and finish it with Susano'o.

Also, you can't play sasuke until you learn the Tilt Cancel ultimate or one of his infinite combos. Otherwise, you aren't playing him to win, just for fun. With your choices, I would suggest you try out kirin sasuke or Rinnegan Tobi. Need anymore help ask me, I'll send you my GT.
