I was all Skyrim until GTA V reared it's awesome head. I literally have to play GTA. I love it, since It'll come out next year I have to look back at Skyrim..sigh. TES IV did open my eyes, up till that point I been only playing shooters, sports and an adventure once in a blue moon, but after playing it I got addicted then jumped on the Fallout bandwagon and with Skyrim days away I'm pumped, but I am a GTA fan through and through and will always pick over anything. Also I anyone thinking about MGS: Rising?
**** yes, MGS finally coming to Xbox - That is a must, and so is the MGS HD Collection!

how good will this game be if its not multiplayer?

anyone here getting mw3? thats all im waiting on and generations of course
When was the last time COD won game of the year? And when was the last time a sole multiplayer won game of the year? Its the same thing every year, with only a few improvements (sound like Madden right?)

That goes to show that multiplayer games aren't good enough.
MW3 will be good, but its not even in the current top 3 for game of the year as of now.
Those would be Skyrim, Uncharted 3, and Batman Arkham City.

I don't get how Skyrim only has one disc and a 3.7GB install size. . . this is madness!

The only time I was really pumped for a game is when GTA IV came out and now it's V.

You haven't heard of Skyrim? I mean, I wont get it since it isn't my type of game but if you really call yourself "game nerd" you should've heard of it.

Really, Multiplayer?
I'd rather have more games with a long campaign instead of thousands of FPS games with only 4h / 6h Single Player time.
woah o_O thats alot of space for one disc, i havent seen a good single player game in a while man
A games epicness should be based on the journey and story of it standing alone 0.o

...not if it has mulitplayer.
so as i go through your thread, i see you can cast spells, battle dragons, and get armor, can you tame those dragons in any way? are there like loads of missions and side missions? can you customize your character down to his facial features, if its not online multiplayer, and its being talked about like this, i may go and get it, because i love adventure games, but now i have a multiplayer hunger to destroy peoples scores online :D

what?? those are really the top 3? will you get call of duty?

i love how call of duty works , all though its a little repetitive, i still like how they improve the graphics and add new guns and kill streaks, its the feeling of mowing your opponent down, knowing thats a real person playing against you

the best feeling of playing call of duty, is when you kill a whole team by yourself with a balistic knife :| ~silent kill~

You don't tame Dragons you kill them and take their soul 0.o

...or something along those lines =DD

Also if you have never played a ES game then you wouldn't understand the epicness that comes from it. I mean imagine you are playing the game. To the left of you are huge mountains and to the right a massive forest...well you can go all the way to the top of that mountain and any corner of that forest you want. The whole area is explorable...and all these area you can do stuff. The graphics are off the chart, the world just looks amazing.

Yep, Batman and Uncharted have already got a 10/10 and Skyrim is expected to get it to.

A LOT OF SPACE?
That's nothing, Battlefield 3 has 15,5GB in total with HD Content.
Every Call of Duty has over 5 GB.
Batman Arkham City has 7.8 GB.

3.7GB is nothing.
I expected it to be more than one disc at first but then they sad it would be one disc only so I was like. "Yeah, probably install size of 8GB" and now. . . 3.7GB. . . that is nothing.

And btw, Batman Arkham City is on of the newest and best Single Player games around, just like Uncharted 3 eventho it has MP.

Yes, those are the Top 3. The last COD that got GOTY Award was Call of Duty 4 is I recall correctly. Yes, Call of Duty is fun and will always be one of the best selling games but it's just always the same. Im going to get it as well (This Saturday :p) but it isn't GOTY worthy.

And about the graphic thing, MW3 runs on the same engine as MW2 - They didn't improve anything that much.
