Northern Namhae (061)

Known as the breadbasket of Namhae, the area is known for its layered paddy fields of rice and other staples, arranged as terraced fields and built along a slope winding from the riverside up to the top of a number of nearby hills. Northern Namhae’s farmer’s market, where locals sell their produce, is known as one of the most busy in the Land of Fire. More impoverished crofter’s communities have also appeared in the shadows of the hills in recent times, scraping out an existence there.

Northern Namhae is home to the coastal city of Stormwind, the Capitol of the Alliance and the seat of its King. It lies between the hills and the rice fields, with small villages surrounding it and stone laid roads leading off into different regions. Stormwind has a single gate built by the dwarves made of steel, wood and chains. To enter the gate one must cross a bridge with the statues of glorious knights and heroes. Inside Stormwind you may find within the safety of the walls its many different districts; the trade district, cathedral square, the dwarven district, the harbor, old town, the canals and Lion’s Rest. The harbor itself is a busy port, with many traders and ships coming and going, but it is also where the galleons of the Alliance rest when they are not at sea. The harbor is surrounded by walls both at sea and separating it from the rest of the city. The walls at sea have metal gates that go into the water and must be opened using large chains. The rest of the city is protected by the walls and gates, as well as the knights wearing the golden lion crest. People from all around the world have been welcomed into the city, and it is a peaceful and prospering place. Lion’s Rest is where all fallen knights, as well as kings and heroes, are laid to rest. At the top of the hill lies Stormwind Keep. It rises high above the rest of the city and is protected by a deep moat, with a statue of the hero and king of the city. Within the keep lies the libraries, guest rooms for visiting dignitaries and nobles, as well as the meeting place of the representatives from the human people as well as the battlemasters. The throne room is like a glittering cave, the light coming through the windows above, the floor decorated with the crest of the king as well as banners hanging from the walls, the knights standing guard across the halls and the throne room. In more recent times the gate of Stormwind is being guarded by knights, as well as archers on the walls, due to pillaging and unfriendly people roaming the lands, thus everyone entering Stormwind is due a search and thoroughly checked up on before being allowed passage into the city.

Medusa and Riku would fly over the Northern Namhae of the Land of Fire towards their destination. By this time, the chakra signature is getting stronger. The information is right. Medusa smiles while releasing a seal and initiating sage mode.

Fuinjutsu: Seijirirīsu - Sealing Art: Sage Release (Reference)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Close
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
This is a jutsu that is used concurrently with gathering sage chakra. The user marks himself with a seal with a kanji saying "Nature". Only one seal can be place at a time. The user would activate this seal before gathering sage chakra. Gathering sage chakra would take the normal process of staying still, etc as the only reason for the seal is to seal and store the converted sage chakra instead of immediately using it to initiate sage mode. Depending on the amount of time used for meditation, the sage chakra converted would be stored accordingly. For example, if mediation is done for two turns, 20% of the user's chakra is converted to sage chakra and the 20% sage chakra is stored in the seal. The maximum amount of turns for meditation can not be exceeded however. i.e: 30% Max for imperfect sages, 40% Max for perfect sages etc. Just like the default. Once the sage chakra is stored, the user is able to at any time, collect the sage chakra from the seal by releasing the seal with a confrontation handseal. Releasing the seal is instantaneous and can be used in the timeframe of another technique but the user would spend a move slot. By releasing the seal, the user would initiate sage mode.
Placing and activating the seal counts as a move, releasing the seal takes a move slot but can be used in the same timeframe as another jutsu. Usable 2x per battle, with a 2 turn break in between.
Must be a medical ninja to use
( Kanpekinanin Hebi Sennin Modo ) - Perfect Snake Sage Mode
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/a
Chakra cost: N/A ( -10 turn to sustain )
Damage Points: Active + 30 damage to all ninjutsu and taijutsu up to S rank
Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be moulded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and can heal (for 10 damage per turn) for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception and reflexes are enhanced. Their ninjutsu and strength increases, empowering taijutsu and other close range physical combat techniques by +30. Additionally, the user is able to break out of Genjutsu, using Genjutsu release technique one rank lower than what he would normally be required to. And similarly, the requirement to break out of user’s Genjutsu using Release or Chakra surge is one rank higher than required. Lastly, the user gains access to snake anatomy, Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation and other physical feats granted by Sage mode.
Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again. Once per battle, the user is able to instantly activate Sage mode, with 10% of their maximum chakra reserve as Senjutsu Chakra.
Note: Perfect Sages can convert a maximum of 40% of their total chakra reserve.

The Rise of Stormwind

The three galleons had been sailing for several days, the smell of the sea and the sweat on the men’s brows was emanating from them. The hull of the ships a chestnut brown color, the banners and the sails blue with a golden lion as the crest. At the rudder, together with his first mate and captain, stood Varian Wrynn. Being the commander of the vessel and the fleet, he was trusted by his men as they had seen his compassion and his resolve. They had sailed for many a night before they would arrive at the shores of Northern Namhae. He could see the rice fields up across the hills and the rivers flowing down the sides of said hills, small communities scattered across the area. However, at the shores was a large market, a large town filled with life, hundreds of people living their lives. The harbor was filled with boats and ships, the fishermen, traders and merchants coming and going as they pleased. The three galleons made their way into the port of the city, the blue sails with golden crests upon them waving in the wind, the strong smell of sweat sweeping across the harbor, as the galleons finally made port. At first, the ruckus and the life that emanated from the city, as well as the harbor seemed normal, people were running along, rushing across streets. However, it did not take long for Varian to detect that something was off. He had just stepped off the galleon, the men preparing for their first day off in many days’ time. Varian noticed that the people running across the harbor, into the city, and into buildings, they were not running, it was more of frantic movements to try and get away from something. The yelling, screaming and talking as well as the sea and the work of his men had previously deafened out the cries and the clashing of metal and wood in the city.

Varian: “Captain… something is off, gather the men, tell them to get ready for a fight.”

Captain: “Yes milord!”

As the captain ran off into the distance, Varian kneeled, placing his palm upon the stones of the road. He stared into the city, the curiosity upon his face, changed from that of an unknown child into that of a man with determination and resolve in his eyes. He had utilized his exceptional tracking skills to map out the entire city [Ninja Tracking Technique]. He had managed to release his chakra across the entire city, this allowed him to track every individual that resided within the city, humans and animals alike. He could feel small and big chakra signatures, their movements and more. Through this he could track small animals like cats and rats running through alleys, he could sense the people running and hiding in their homes, taverns and other places. He could sense the fading of numbers of individuals that he could have sensed. Thus, he knew that a fight had ensued within the city. He knew not whom or what was going on, but he knew he had to do something to calm the citizens and to make sure that the conflict was resolved. As the captain returned, he did so with the men from the galleons, they were no longer wearing their white shirts and dirty pants but had changed into what would seem like plated armor, the armor of knights. Their armor covering them from top to toe, the helmets glistening in the sunlight. Their swords in hand, their shields front, with the golden lion crest, as well on their chest.

Varian: “Captain, tell some of your men to go across the town to assist the people with getting to safety, or assist them in any means necessary. A company of men shall come with me, while you tend to this matter, understood?”

Captain: “Yes sire. Men split up, search across the city for citizens in need, assist them in any way you can, make sure everyone is safe!”

As the captain moved forward with his men, just twenty of the knights remained with Varian, as the last 250 of them had been set to patrol, survey and assist the citizens.

Varian: “The rest of you will follow me, we are going straight into conflict, prepare yourself!”

Varian moved forward through the streets with his trusted knights. They moved past fallen wooden poles, broken barrels, people sitting and crying in the streets, some of them being tended to by other knights. They witnessed Varian moving forward with his knights, securing the streets as he moved towards the market place, where the most signatures were located, it was there that he had sensed the fighting the most intense. As Varian and his knights made their way into the market place, they saw the stands had been crushed and destroyed, the food, wine and water scattered across the streets, but most disturbingly there were bodies of innocent merchants and people whom had been out trading. Varian and his knights moved forward, as Varians gaze was upon the dead, women, children, everyone was dead. It was then that they entered the main market, it was there Varian would witness two sides squabbling for control over the market. The one side looked like the citizens whom had taken whatever they could find to defend themselves, with a few trained men in between wielding swords. Though by the front stood a man, he was of higher stature than the rest, obviously. On the other side of the market stood what would seem like approximately 40 men, all wearing the fur of dead animals, some metal plating and chainmail, their weapons varying from spears, swords and axes. They looked like pillagers. As Varian and his knights approached from behind, the pillagers seemed to hesitate, as the knights in the glistening armor, led by their commander, Varian Wrynn walked up in front of the people of the city, including the man at the front.

Varian: “You must be the one in charge here.”

Mayor: “Yes, I am the mayor, in charge of protecting the city and its people… these men have been pillaging us for days on end, coming and going…”

Varian: “You do not have to worry anymore, my men are scattered across the city, tending to the wounded, the ill and helping establish order. Now it is time to deal with these men.”

Varian drew his sword, a mighty blade it was. His men as if called from the depths of the ocean, rose between the people of the city, swarming forward creating a single line of knights, their shields held front, their blades pointing forward. The mayor of the city witnessed the knights forming in front of them, as he looked at the back of Varian, the look of determination gave him a sense of assurance, that everything would be fine.

Mayor: “When this is all over, I would like to speak to you at the cathedral.”

Varian: “Go there now, tend to your people, I will follow.”

As the people left, the knights stood between the people and the pillagers, their will and strength unwavering. They were enraged by Varian’s interference. He stepped forward in front of his knights as he stared into the enemy’s eyes.

Varian: “This is the last time you and your savages will ever pillage these people ever again!”

Varians’ voice echoed across the field of battle, his knights taking several steps forward. The pillagers yelled and screams, slamming their weapons together, they were preparing to charge. This was going to get bloody, and not one that would not require the blood of some of his men. He turned his head slightly to see that the resolve of his men and their strength was unwavering, they were taught to never back down, to never give in to fear.

Varian: “Charge!”

Knights: “For Varian!”

Varian and his knights moved forward together like a well-oiled machine, their footsteps synchronized, their shield formation strong and tight. As they ran forward, so did the pillagers. The pillagers were more than the knights, however, it seemed like the knights were better trained. As the two sides clashed at the center of the market, several of the pillagers were slammed into the ground by the shield bashing of the knights, quickly dispatched by them, while many pillagers jumped to get over the shields, and some attempted to slide under to swipe the feet from under them. Varian entered the fray with his men, his sword clashed with that of a metal club, striking it aside, as his metal covered fist slammed into the face of the pillager, as he continued pressing forward into the battlefield. It did not take long for the entire market to turn into a full-blown battle, the knights striking down pillagers all over, some knights being thrown into the ground and bashed with clubs, some thrown through some of the remaining stands. The pillagers used their numbers to force several knights into the ground, their heads being bashed in, it was chaotic, his men were not frightened or running away, they accepted death, but would fight to their last breath. However, the chaos had ensued, Varian was witnessed sweeping the leg from under two pillagers, immediately slashing their heads off before they would strike the ground, as he moved forward.

What Varian had not seen, was two pillagers coming from behind, they leapt on top of him, striking their knives into his armor. At first the weight, caused him to fall to his knees, however their blades blunt and weak, did not have the strength to break through his armor, and so Varian grabbed one of them throwing him over his shoulder and into the ground, knocking the air out as his sword pierced through his heart. The second on frantically attempted to bash his helmet, but before he could break it, Varian had let himself fall backwards, landing with his full weight on top of the pillager, knocking the air out of him, as he rolled off, cutting his throat in the process. As he got up, he had already seen the four pillagers running his way, and with a swift turn, his sword slashed through their wooden clubs and straight through their throats like butter, severing their heads from their bodies. Varians determination and skill, inspired his men, as they regrouped, and began to push the pillagers out of the marketplace towards the borders of the city. Varian was running several meters in front of his knights, knocking pillagers over, while some he cleaved or pierced through their chests. The pillagers were on the run. It was not until Varian and his mean reached the edge of the city, that the pillagers had regrouped outside the city, some twenty left. Varian still had twelve men standing left, the obvious skill level between the two sides had been proved, but it seemed that the pillagers were still enraged. Varian stepped forward.

Varian: “No more blood has to be spilled on either side… we can settle this right here right now…”

The biggest of the pillagers stepped forward, he was a man so tall that he even towered over Varian, wielding a longsword and a claw like weapon on his other hand, the war paint on his face and the scar, would in any other case, scare his adversary. However, Varian was no ordinary man, he did not scare from such primitive ways of intimidation.

Hovnank: “We will settle this our way! Mak’gora! A fight to the death!”

Varian: “As you wish…”

Varian and Hovnank stepped forward into the area between their men. As the two men circled one another like wolf circling their prey, they both prepared to strike. It was Hovnank who struck first. His movements were nimble, he was far faster and stronger than Varian anticipated, as he barely managed to sidestep the longsword striking down from above, while the claw would slash across the side of his face, drawing blood. He stumbled back, though with quick resolution he turned his body to make a forward strike, his blade would strike through Hovnanks side, piercing through what would be his kidneys, the blood covering his blade. However, Hovnank was still standing and he took a hold of his sword, not letting him retract it, and as he turned, the sword was loosened from his grip and the hilt of the longsword struck Varian into the ground. As he hit the ground, he could feel the weight of the armor weighing him down. Havnonk lifted his blade above his head ready to strike the final blow upon Varian. Though Varian had other plans, as he used his legs to kick the sword that was stuck through his body, this causing him to stumble backwards and fall back, the blade piercing through him more, while he dropped his sword. The agony of his screams was echoing across the area. Varian pulled himself up and turned to the men of the pillagers.

Varian: “This is the end… tell whom ever is leading you, that if he or you ever return here, none of you will leave this place alive!”

As he said this, the pillagers abandoned their leader, running off away from the city. However, the pillager whom was lying on the ground had rolled to the side, attempting to crawl away from Varian and his knights, his muffled cries and the blood spilling from his mouth was making it difficult to hear him. Varian walked up beside him.

Varian: “you should of accepted my proposal.”

Varian crouched down, taking a hold of the sword that was stuck in his sword, and instead of pulling it out, he placed his leg upon the man, pushing him into the ground, as he tried to use the sword like a saw, literally cleaving the man in half, cutting his lower body from his upper body. The eyes widening of the man and the screams was louder than anything he had heard. But it took no more than a few seconds after his body had been split, that he became quiet, the pillager was dead.

Varian: “Soldiers dispose of the body and afterwards you shall run across the city, informing the knights that we have won the day, you shall tell them to dispose of the bodies of the dead, and assist the people of the city.”

Soldier: “Yes milord!”

As the men scattered, only two of them followed Varian back through the streets and through the remains of the marketplace, seeing the knights cleaning up and the people helping them. He continued onward, as he was guided by a man of the city to the cathedral square, which was where the mayor and the people had organized. As Varian walked up, he could see people move out to rebuild the city, some people serving food and helping the sick and wounded. Some of the people even turned to look at Varian as he arrived with his knights, as he walked up to the mayor.

Varian: “The threat has been taken care of, they shall not return to this place ever again.”

Mayor: “Thank you so much kind sir. I hear your men call you lord… can I ask who you are?”

Varian: “I am Varian Wrynn, and these men are my trusted knights, we have sailed far and wide to reach this land and we are looking for a place to settle down.”

Mayor: “Well you have proven to me that we need more protection than what I can offer. You command the authority and the trust and friendship of your men, you have the strength to protect us. I know the people here and they are my friends, and if you would help us, I would be forever grateful.”

Varian: “The people have been saved, you have been saved and so have the city. My men and I would accept the offer to become part of your community, to become part of this place.”

Mayor: “I am glad to hear this, though I am just a mayor. The people need a true leader. Someone like you.”

Varian: “I will not take the title from you, I will not take charge of a city that do not wish for me to do so.”

Mayor: “Believe me… they do.” The mayor jumped onto the table and overlooked the people. “People of this city! Look and behold! The savior of our city! VARIAN WRYNN!”

The people of the city cheered and whistled and waved, their happiness showing for Varian and his men. The mayor looked down onto Varian.

Mayor: “You see, the people already adore you, you would be a true leader. A true King.”

Varian turned on his heels, continuously turning and witnessing the smiles and happy faces as the people cheered, the voice of the mayor almost not reaching him, the feeling of praise, honor and purpose was washing back on to him.

Varian: “If the people wish it, I will take up the mantle and protect them. However, I cannot do this before I have created a true safe haven for the people of this city and make them truly safe from the dangers of the pillagers.”

Varian stepped onto the table.

Varian: “People… my People! I Varian Wrynn, will lead you into a new age of prosperity and peace, I will make you feel safe and protect you from all dangers.”

The crowd was roaring with appraisal.

Varian: “A ceremony shall be held soon; my knights will help the city recover! But first, I shall change the city itself!”

The crowd went silent, as Varian stepped down from the table and kneeled in front of it. No one knew what Varian was about to do. He pulled out a single scroll, performing a set of hand seals and slammed his hand down upon the scroll. And as if out of nowhere, rocks and stone would be summoned across the city and around its borders, the as the land and city itself changed before the very eyes of the citizens and the knights. Their ever-changing city was not only changed by this unique technique that Varian had just performed but it was further changed by the Dimension Topography Control technique which allowed Varian to change the very landscape of the city, making the ground rise, and the walls and buildings change, with new buildings rising as well. It took about fifteen minutes before everything settled down, and it was only then that the people would realize that they were no longer standing in a small city, but in a grand city, with tall thick stone walls, a larger harbor, and several new areas known as cathedral square and more. However, where most people would be standing now was Lion’s Keep or Stormwind Keep, the very square leading into what would be the council and the kings halls.

Stormwind:
Stormwind the Capitol of the Alliance, the pinnacle of power and the seat of the King. It lies between the hills and the rice fields, the small villages surrounding it, the stone laid roads leading off into the different regions of the Kingdom. Stormwind, has a single gate, a gate made of steel, wood and chains, built by the dwarves. To enter the gate, one must cross the bridge with the statues of glorified knights and heroes. Inside Stormwind, you may find the safety of the walls, the many different districts; trade district, cathedral square, dwarven district, the harbor, old town, the canals and lion’s rest. Now, the harbor itself is a busy port, with many traders and ships coming and going, but it is also where the galleons of the alliance rest when they are not at sea. The harbor is surrounded by walls both at sea and separating it from the rest of the city. The walls at sea, have metal gates that go into the water, and must be risen by chains. The rest of the city is protected by the walls and gates, as well as the knights wearing the golden lion crest. People from all around the world have been welcomed to the city, and it is a peaceful and prosperous place. Lion’s Rest is where all fallen knights, as well as kings and heroes are laid to rest. At the top of the hill lies Stormwind Keep. It is rising high above the rest of the city and is protected by a deep moat, with a statue of the hero and king of the city. Within the keep lies the libraries, as well as the place for nobles, as well as the meeting place of the representatives from the human people as well as the battlemasters. The throne room is like a glittering cave, the light coming through the windows above, the floor decorated with the crest of the king as well as banners hanging from the walls, the knights standing guard across the halls and the throne room. In more recent times, the gate of Stormwind is being guarded by knights as well as archers on the walls, due to pillaging and unfriendly people roaming the lands, thus everyone entering Stormwind is due a search and thoroughly checked up on before allowing them entrance into the city.

Varian: “My people! Welcome to Stormwind!”

The people roared once more.

Varian: “Go find your loved ones, go rebuild, go take care of your lives. My knights will from now on be guarding the walls of this mighty city, and we shall no longer be living in the shadows of the pillagers or anyone else.”

The crowd cheered, and as the cheering slowly dissipated, the crowd would disperse, only the mayor and some of his men remaining.

Mayor: “Stormwind, an impressive name, to something that will become the marble of this part of the world. Is there anything I can do to help?”

Varian: “The people of Stormwind are my responsibility now, and I shall not let them down. We will have a ceremony in the future to solidify our independency. For now, take these six orbs. You shall place them atop the walls in a round pattern across, this shall solidify our protection and make sure that we shall remain unseen until we are safer.”

The mayor nodded before leaving. This was the beginning of Stormwind, a mighty city of people and knights, the rise of Varian the first king of Stormwind. The city of Stormwind will become a beacon of hope and strength, its walls solidifying its supremacy across the land and standing as a sign of strength. As by the power of what had caused this mighty city of Stormwind to rise from the ashes of the former city, and its people cheering onward for their new leader and trusted ally, it was just as if nothing had ever happened. Within just a single moment, the entire city disappeared, as if it had never existed [Epitome of Magnus - Technology]. The city vanished, and in its place fields appeared, it was like it had never existed.

(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control

[Epitome of Magnus]
Type: Tool
Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: X
Description: This is a unique technology that is actually made to look alike the casing is a book so as to not draw attention to the contents. Within their are six beacons, all the size of a golf ball. This is a technology specifically designed for deception. How it works is the users will set up a minimum of three of these beacons, then when they activate them, they will connect and form a distortion field of sorts. What this will do is create a hologram. This hologram will reflect and blend into the area where they are placed, for example, in a forest they would show trees. A barrier of sorts to hide what was truly inside. Not only this but they would give off a frequency to disrup chakra sensors from sensing the chakra of those within the barirer. This distortion is released around and would stop sharingan and rinnegan from seeing chakra within, though byakugan would be able to look beyond the barrier and see what was within. It was designed for reconiscance missions, hiding the users in plain sight along with their chakra signatures. If one of the beacons would be damaged, the field would fail and need to be set up again or reactivated. Due to the set up required, generally not the most useful technology when it comes to a fight. If it were to be used in a fight, activating the field would cost as a single move by pressing the button within the "book" container.

Explore a landmark (1)
Set up camp (1)

Information:Kurama and Tigrerra enter Landmark 61 – Northern Namhae, coming from Landmark 52 - The Southern Mire, where they explore the new landmark, and reconnect further in their travels, but suddenly they see a great change in the landscape from afar, and, unable to approach, enter, or even see the new topography, decide to set up a camp near where the change had taken place and wait it out to see if anything new comes out afterwards that may interest them....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kurama and Tigrerra had continued southward, coming from the wild and untamed region that was the Southern Mire, into the simpler hilly landscapes of rice fields of Northern Namhae.

The various passersby merely stared at the giant white tiger as it strolled through the topography, amazed at the sight, some even noticing Kurama atop of her.

These people look at me as if they haven't seen a giant beast before Kurama....I can't lie and say it doesn't slightly bother me.... Tigrerra lightly grimaced.

Kurama simply laughed, Pay them no mind, Tigrerra, there's no reason to harm them as they have not done anything to us.

You're right, you're right....now why did we head this way again? I could have thought of at least ten more interesting places to venture into than this...plain Jane landmark.... Tigrerra sighed.

Kurama shook her head and shrugged, You know, I'm not sure myself. Something just told me to go south...that we may find something....out of the ordinary here.

They continued following the hilly slope from the riverside that flowed from the Mire, not finding much if anything of note. What they saw from where they were were merely small farms...which had seemed to recently become barren. This was the exact opposite of what was expected from this land....Namhae was known as probably the busiest farming area in the Land of Fire. What could have caused this?

Tigrerra, stop. This doesn't look right.... Tigrerra halted, and Kurama dismounted. She started looking around the arid farmland...

The barns seemed to have been set fire to as well as the fields behind them....and the dead cattle laying in the grass reeked a foul odor. This was no accidental misfortune...someone or something did this to this poor family. Tigrerra stayed close to Kurama as she continued exploring. Kurama...it's obvious that this homestead was pillaged....along with the others we've passed. We should go. There doesn't seem to be anyone here--

Kurama was listening to her friend but she had fell to her knees at the sight of what she saw inside of the homestead of the farm they were at, which caused Tigrerra to pause her words... Kurama, are you alright? Kurama was shaken at what befell her eyes...a whole family, slaughtered, and left for dead inside their own home. This...this is a tragedy, Tigrerra...only people with no sense of dignity would harm such innocent people for their own foolish and prideful gains....

The smoke is still fresh, my Empress. The plunderers could not have gotten far from here. Tigrerra growled lowly.

Kurama shook off her sadness, and mounted Tigrerra once more. Exactly, my friend. I saw footprints leading further towards the greater farmer’s market, closer to the shore. Let's see if we can serve some justice to those ne'er do wells. Onward!

Right! And with that, Tigrerra rushed in the direction of the shoreline, but as they reached the top of a hill near the village that hosted the giant marketplace, they heard much commotion coming from inside its borders. Look to the harbor, Kurama! It would seem someone has arrived here before us.

Kurama looked to the harbor and saw three ships, each decorated with a flag that held a regal appearance, emblazoned in blue with a golden lion on the center as its crest. They followed the hilly borders that were still a good distance away from the village, watching as the blue and yellow knights fought away the cretins that had caused the chaos to the area. A few moments later, a large group of the villainous men poured out of the city.

Should we engage, Kurama? I'm ready to pounce and kill this filth...Tigrerra growled, baring her great fangs. Kurama, intrigued at what she had watched from a distance, merely shook her head once more. No, my friend...I think this lot has learned their lesson well enough... As Kurama finished her words, a grand change began to occur to the village as the earth around them trembled.

From the trampled village came an awe-inspiring city, much more of grandeur and elegance than the normality that was once Northern Namhae's identity. Kurama and Tigrerra were simply astounded as what had just occurred before them....

Just like on San'indo.... Kurama said to herself. Should we approach, milady? Tigrerra questioned.

Let's. Kurama smiled, but as soon as they took a step....the great city had disappeared before their very eyes.

Um....did that just happen? That did happen right....you saw it too right Kurama? I'm not going crazy am I? Tigrerra blinked and hastily spoke in confusion. Kurama was befuddled as well, scratching her head. Yeah, that happened....hmm...let's set up a camp here, old girl. Someone is bound to come out of there eventually.

And with that, Kurama dismounted Tigrerra once more and they set up a simple camp outside of the 'invisible' city on a nearby hill with the supplies Kurama had gathered throughout her travels. They had a small campfire set up, along with a tent for Kurama as Tigrerra proudly laid beside her, keeping a watchful eye for any intruders who dared come their way. Kurama sat on a log, teacup in hand, and took a sip, petting Tigrerra as she did.

Only a matter of time now...

Coming from Aridakumo

Travelling back through this land, Ryuu scanned the area with his Byakugan, and to his surprise, found Star 3 there. Clearly he had not noticed her before. Still a while away from her, he wondered what she was doing. Upon closer inspection with his Byakugan, he noticed that she carried one of the stones, just like he did. Looked like she was as curious and successful as he had been so far. Grinning, the boy wrote something in his notebook, before tearing it out:

I think the place you are looking for is a prison. I'll race you there. You can have these back too.

As he ran past his clan mate, he dropped off the shoes and the note in her hands, grinning mischievously. He was off before she would know it. He did wonder though if she would come this way with him; after all, she might have a different interpretation of the riddle.

[Coming from Here]

Having followed his employers directions, Azriel had led them to these lands to see something he truly wasn't expecting, a grand walled city. He'd never seen a place such as this before. He ushered the horses on, towards the city where at the gate the goods were inspected and all each of them searched. Azriel showed them the regular blade on his side and his staff, explaining of the dangerous roads and how he needed to protect the merchandize. With the guards being satisfied they headed into the city where Azriel received his payment, leaving his employer in the trade district at the auction house.

Mission start:

- Explore the history of something (B rank)

With Azriel now free to his own devices it was time to explore this grand city he never knew existed. Though he didn't want to draw attention to himself in the process so he would act under the pretence of being a simple merchant, it seemed fitting. First he would enter the Inn in the trade district, purchase a drink and sit acting as the weary traveller, a perfect opportunity to sit and observe, listen and get a feel for the kind of city Stormwind was. For the most part it felt like any normal trading outpost built up to a great city. People from all over the world seemed to venture he for different trade reasons. From what he understood there was a large dogs on the coast through which most trade seemed to pass through, creating a pathway all around the world. This would be a better place to understand the means by which this city sustained itself.

Having finished the drink, he headed down out of the inn and followed the city around, following the canals down towards the harbour to see these busy docks he'd been hearing about. In such turbulent times, seeing such a grand display of trade was something in itself. He made his way down the stone staircase watching as sailors rapidly unloaded and loaded cargo from global export, it was a site to behold, that was certain. As he walked he listened to passing conversations for any sign of the reasons a city like this has managed to flourish for so long without being decimated or crushed. He was starting to think that this was just a sign of decency from the people until he was about to give up, when he heard mention of the certain unique trinkets and relics being delivered under guard to the cathedral square. Why would they need to go to the grand church, visible from every point in the city, need such things. There was only one way find out.

He headed back up the steps towards the main part of the city, following the canals this time, past the stockades and around to the cathedral. Even though he'd been able to see this since he entered the city it was still more magnificent in person due to the grand architecture. If this wasn't a symbol of power, nothing would be. Though there were guards around the square, it wasn't like this place was heavily guarded specifically. Azriel headed in to see what was held within the great structure.

Upon entering, rather than a grand church it seemed more like a grand library. He strolled around, following the bookshelves, picking up one or two books and browsing them briefly before moving on. As he moved in, he found a small room to the side which contained more books yet these were aged. Maybe this would hold some answers to his curiosity. He browsed as he found one that was rather larger than the rest, though aged, it's binding were clearly well designed, an important looking design. He took it laying it on a nearby table, gently wiping the dust from the cover to unveil its title, "The Grand History of Stormwind".

It would seem these Lands hadn't been such a decorative city for that long based on the latest entry into this book. Only 3 years had this been a grand city created by a single person who fought along side many knights, Varian. It would seem after an incursion of bandits, he and his knights repelled them as the sole individual raised the grand walls to protect the city from further incursions and the knights too over protecting this city. Well it would seem there were strong individuals in these lands to be able to perform such an act. Though this wasn't really an answer to his question. He decided to head to the keep to see if he can find more there.

Placing the book back where he made his way out of the cathedral heading towards the keep though in the process caught the attention of a couple of the guards. He could see then whispering out the corner of his eye as they made to follow him on his journey. It seemed it wouldn't be as simple as just digging up dirty on the lands. He followed the canals around into the dwarven district, one lined with furnaces and all the equipment needed to enhance any craft known to man. This place really had been set up to act as a central trade point in the region. He tried the lose the guards heading down between two armour merchant shops, though it was no use, the followed him. They had even surrounded him, now 4 guards stood, 2 at one end of the alley and 2 at the other. Well it was no use, he'd have to fight. He held his staff in one hand and rested his hand on his sword. One guard stepped forwards, "Halt intruder, state your name an purpose in our city". This is something Azriel had hoped to avoid, he was about to make his move when something shook the very core of the world itself:

A massive magnitude nine earthquake rips through the world, shaking it to its very core. It's power is so great it can be felt even across dimensions, like those in Rifts or in their own unique spacetime pockets.
The sheer level of power reverberating through the world was beyond insane, what could cause such an insane thing to occur? Azriel managed to hold his footing, while the guards all fell down under the weight of their armour, in shock from the shaking of the world. Azriel took this moment to quickly lose his pursuers, merging into the ground following the stone roads through the city and into the keep, taking advantage of the she event shaking the world as the streets were full of panic and chaos. He emerged from the ground in the main keep in one of the side rooms.

(Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks, move inside them and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. Despite this, Dõjutsu and Sensors can still detect the opponent. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.
Note: Can only blend through on C-rank and below Earth Techniques.

Now hidden away in this room, Azriel sat, and activated his Byakugan, scanning the area all around, though he was not looking for secrets of the city at this point. He was scanning the lands all around him, in detail, looking for even a hint of what could of causes such a devastating shock through the world. No matter how hard he looked, there was nothing to give any indication, nothing at all. After several minutes of scanning, the only conclusion he could come to was that the shock he'd felt had come from even father than his eyes could see. This was insane, to create such a shock at a range as great as that, or further was unfathomable. He sat for a moment gathering himself from the shock, noting to investigate this further before getting up, and searching the keep for what he was here for.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 (+5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

He searched until he found a locked room. You would only lock a room if you were looking to hide something. He used his merging technique once more to pass through the wall to find what seemed to be a vault like room, full of ornate weapons, old relics, some rusty, some sinister along with even more books. He saw one that stood out more than the others due to its lack of dust, showing it had been used recently. He took it sitting on the ground flicking through it. Finally what he'd been looking for. The trade was just a front for smuggling stolen relics from the past, a way of truly funding such a city. Though that was not all, they were preparing to try and raid a certain forge, one north ish from here, that sold god slaying weapons. Surely that had to be in jest? Why would anyone need such a thing? Then he felt something inside him, thinking back to that quake beforehand. Surely that power that shook the world couldn't be....

He didn't have time to waste with all the guards on high alert. Once more he would fuse with the ground, moving through the rock and terrain until he was out of the stone city heading towards the forge mentioned in the texts.
