The smile I created is simply a mask.
Deep within the mask, is a hurtful past.
These scars within me hurt, but I won't tell.
It's simply a cloud of mist that I will forever dwell.
I am simply a lie that makes up "me".
I am much more than your eye can see.
The feelings within me will never soon depart.
But either way, they were there from the start.
The words I speak are simply air.
And for whatever reason I tell them, I do not care.
