'None of this would be happening if Rin didn't die' Hypocritcal?

I've seen a lot of people use this statement that if Rim hadn't died none of this would be happening. But as I recall wasn't this ticked off from Izuna being killed? I like Madara as a character but the when the fan base are bashing Obito for his reasons they really should be bashing Madara as well for his reasoning. Aren't these statements hypocritical?

I know Madara's motives are more complex, I was just using the statement in comparison with Obito's.

Very true. But without the Rin Catalyst, none of this would have happened since there would have been nothing to trigger Obito to go back to Madara.

Not exactly. If Rin was alive, Obito would've joined Team Minato again. Madara wouldn't have anybody to perform Rinne Tensei for him, unless he got someone else, since Obito didn't have Rinnegan, so Madara couldn't have taken over his body to do Rinne Tensei.

If Rin hadnt died the Sanbi would have been released on the leaf, although that said; i'm sure Minato would have been able to go up against it with the rest of the Leaf Shinobi and 3rd Hokage, seeing as he alone would later go on to defeat Tobi and the Kyuubi.

Had Rin just gone to Konoah with Kakashi, the Leaf would have then been in possession of 2/9 Bijuus (Sanbi and Kyuubi).

He referred to it as Hell because of all the dead bodies and blood everywhere, most likely. That's like, the most blood and dead bodies I've ever seen in one battle to happen in Naruto.

Rin seemed like a crush to people; and such "love interests" are seem like mainly happening in terms of physical interaction to people. However; it is overall "love" and what it left behind to people and their minds; Rin was not a mere crush; she was a "loved one". If Kakashi were to die like Rin did; Obito would still be on the path he have choosen after Rin died. But just because Rin was her "crush"; Obito get branded as a pedophile for loving her. It is not like he was in love with her booty; he loved a person and he lost that person.

It is merely "no touch-no love" logic. He did not go crazy because he was "friendzoned" like many immatured kids say; heck he knew he was in the "friendzone" to begin with. It was mainly the realization after Rin's death with the addition of emtional impact. People are bashing him because he brings Rin a lot in his thoughts.

I agree with this, but I just don't think it's realistic for a child to have enough emotional maturity for such deep love :| But then again nothing has to be realistic in Naruto.
