Non-Naruto Roleplay: Yes or No?

Lately NB's haven't really been that active lately, compared to the times when it first started. Not much people are battle RP-ing due to the new rules and so NB is on the verge of collapsing. So I, Natsu, your humble servant, thought of an idea to spice this place up a bit.
Why don't we start our own Non-Naruto Roleplay?

A Non-Naruto Roleplay is self-explanatory. It's a role-play that has absolutely nothing to do with the Naruto Universe and basically any person can start there own RP game, just as long as a moderator approves it. A typical Role Play example could be this:

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth.

Do you dare enter Amestris, the world of the Alchemists? Then come on, join now.

The following character profiles can be used:

State Alchemists: An alchemist employed by the State Military of Amestris. Usually hated by most people for the destruction of Ishbal, State Alchemists are powerful in both martial arts and alchemy. However, don't accept to be free all the time, since they are the foundations of the government.

Rogue Alchemists: are alchemists who are as well skilled in alchemy, however they are the bane of the country of Amestris. They used alchemy for their own personal gain and most of them rebel against the government. Choose this character, and you'll be forever running from the military, but the rewards of life is bountiful, that's if you survive it.

Homonculi: They are a group of artificially created humans who seek to fulfill their leader's goals of creating a Philosopher's Stone. They can be identified by their bearing a the mark of the Ouroboros somewhere on their body, usually in places symbolic with their identities. Each Homonculi have their own special ability, either you follow the anime's ability or make your own. NOTE: We only need SEVEN Homonculi and you have to tell me which Homonculi are you.

Description: (A little information about yourself, personality and looks. Add a picture if you want)
Age: (How old are you and all that)
Role: (State Alchemist/Rogue Alchemist/Homonculi)
History: (A little background about your character)
Abilities: (What form of alchemy are you good at or if your an homonculi, what's your special abilty?)

So basically, this is a non-naruto RPG, it doesn't have to be FMA though, it's all up to the GM (Game Master), whose in charge of the whole Role-play. Just let a moderator approve it and then we start the rpg and what not. So what do you guys think?

I'm all for this. But, I agree, it would be a lot of work for the mods. =/ I think I remember something in another thread about letting people be in charge, so, if you had "sensei" for that section, and just have the mods watch, it might be possible, but it's still a lot of work.

Nonetheless, I vote for this.

I think this could keep things fresh and active. Devlin already suggested a FMA roleplay a month or two back, which I was all for but It never gained any hype

Hm I don't disagree with that, but as you have mentioned already, i am not sure we will be able to moderate another RPG as well :S
And even if more moderators come to the forum, they will be too inexperienced to handle an RPG section, so that means that at least one of us will have to be there and check everything is done properly.
My other problem is that if this get approved, i am afraid that we will end up with many RPGs and that would lead to a chaos. Therefor, i want every detail discussed and a poll with many people voting for it before we discuss this with the rest of the staff.

I agree with you...but I kind of agree and kind of don't agree with this.

I mean, having RP for each anime is too much. The only anime that I think should have its own section aside from Naruto is bleach because the role-play is entirely different and there are so many more bleach fans willing to do Bleach RP. After all, it's been very famous amongst members since almost the dawn of NB.

I'm for a Bleach RP system, but not other anime. There's just too little fans willing to do another RP system. Perhaps One Piece could have it, but it would depend on the number of personel willing to actually Role Play with that style.
